Their dedication, patience, and creativity have made a world of difference for both my 5th grader and 3-year-old. Before Monarch my whole family was lost on what to do and how to adjust to our new life style when we got the ASD diagnosis for our son. His first half of kindergarten consisted of calls from the school everyday of him lashing out to avoid doing work, which caused him to have 2 suspensions....go figure a kindergartner (5 years old) getting suspended from school. The best decision I made was calling Monarch, who’s team wrapped us in their cocoon to help us develop, learn, and adapt. Personally, I was taught I wasn’t alone in all of this; and I wasn’t! With support at school meetings, together we were able to advocate for my son to attend the right school for him so he can be provided with the support and atmosphere he needed. Fast forward 2 years, with the most amazing, patient therapists, in the most amazing settings, and our son is thriving! They push and encourage him and the end result is always him accomplishing something he didn’t think he could. He has become more independent and self sufficient with his routines; I find I don’t even have to remind him what needs to be done. We are now looking at general education in his soon to be future, because he’s been doing so well in school! This little boy, who would always cause such a commotion in public that I would get the piercing glares, has now become the role model of how to behave. My husband and I get compliments from friends and family about how far he has come and it makes us feel proud in our choice with Monarch. Thank you Monarch for everything you have given my family!
