Stay away from the certified family partner. After my meeting with her, I was very pleased. I actually thought she was professional. I was wrong. I informed her of my problems with my daughters school staff. And, that I was going to address them at the 504 meeting at school. At the meeting, it tuned out my daughter did not need the 504 plan after all. The cfp was no help at all. Then, she quickly turned on me and abruptly left. Rude and unprofessional. It's benn weeks and IIstill don't even know why there was no 504 plan. Grades were too good maybe. No communication. Not trustworthy. My daughter left MHID services due to this cfp's behavior. That's just another official that has let her down. Counseling is what actually helps her. So, If you need a cfp , go private. Just don't go to MHID.
