I love Project Brilliance. The staff just loved my son and believed in him and helped tackle the most challenging behaviors with creativity, patience, evidence-based practices, humor and unflagging optimism. The people who go to work and learn through Alina’s vision… they’re changing lives and saving minds. I hope that they continue to grow and expand their presence in Palm Beach County and in the lives of these kids!
I was very thankful to find this school when I did. I have two boys on the spectrum. All together we went here or the other locations in total for 5 years. Both are thriving and without the help of Project Brilliance my boys would have been lost in the public school system. (which we did try) Great school ! I recommend this school often to anyone navigating the special needs world and Aba schools.
I've had my daughter at this facility and location for three years. I really like the personalized education my daughter is receiving. I can see the progress in her learning and behavior. I am very grateful for the love and care with which they treat my daughter every day. I've had my daughter at this facility and location for three years. I would trust no one but the Project Brilliance family with my child. They have changed my life and the my kids life for the better,100%. My child is happy, active and making friends because of their help.
I cannot say enough good things about Project Brilliance! They quite literally saved my son's future. They went above and beyond any expectation I had, and his life is dramatically changed because of them. Within 6 weeks he was speaking, waving, answering to his name, and had stopped stimming. Through potty training, swimming lessons, tooth brushing etc, they were available at the drop of a hat to join us on Facetime to get us through whatever roadblock we had come up against. Even after he graduated, they are available for consults if we need them. There is not enough gratitude in the world to express our thanks!
I would think twice before putting any of your kids in this centers location. My son went here for three years and in the beginning it was amazing! Within the last year and a half things drastically changed and ABA therapy went from therapy to being basically a daycare center. The constant loss of my sons articles of clothing , and or coming home with things that do not belong to him time after time even though I would constantly let them know this is an ongoing issue. A backwards diaper was placed on my son, a fresh diaper going over a soiled diaper instead of changing it. They have also miss placed a child while in their care, not knowing where they physically were. My son’s goals and curriculum never changed, academically they could not tell me where he was based upon the fact that they never updated any of his information, everything just kept getting carried over. Even though I can continue to name other issues that occurred I will not. I can probably say since I have removed my son and he changed schools, there has been a drastic change for the better in which I have never seen happen in all the years he was at Project Brilliance . The neglect on the BCBA’s end and not listening to parents concern is the ultimate reason for removing my son. Lizabeth being a new BCBA was condescending and disrespectful towards things she thought were minuscule in her mind. I feel like we wasted a lot of time, years and money. I as a parent have a lot of guilt because my son is behind for things that he should have been doing in ABA therapy. I do hope they get their stuff together and make some very necessary changes.
