A Beautiful Mind

Pricilla is the best therapist I have ever had. She creates a very calming atmosphere and a greater chance for growth. She works very hard.

They don't care about you. They only made my life harder. I called beforehand to check if the specific insurance I was purchasing was in network for their counselor. I only purchased this insurance for their services, I wasn't seeing other doctors. They said it was in-network. The insurance company (Anthem) said that the counselor was in network. So I signed up after my due diligence. After 7 sessions, Anthem decided my counselor was actually not in-network. I tried four appeals with Anthem to adjust to in-network fees. Anthem admitted they falsely listed the counselor as in-network and would pay in-network prices--but no matter how many times I called, they never adjusted their prices. A Beautiful Mind did nothing to help my cause. They just kept calling and mailing me threats to send me to collections as I tried to work it out with Anthem. They never threatened Anthem--they just took whatever Anthem offered, even though there was clearly something fraudulent going on here. Anthem didn't care. A Beautiful Mind didn't care. Anthem got my premiums. A Beautiful Mind gouged out of me what Anthem owed them. I guess it's easier to threaten their clients then a big insurance corporation. In the end, I just paid them so they'd stop harassing me and threatening to ruin my credit. Don't go to them. You can do all your due diligence and at the end of the day they'll make you pay for their mistakes.

I'm sure there are other great therapists here but unfortunately I went to Denise Strzelecki so that is all I have to speak on. I saw her for close to two years. The EMDR sessions we did never never had follow ups which led to me being stuck in fight or flight mode. She constantly would not follow through with getting documents that I needed or things that I asked her for. A major incident of her dereliction is when I had to wait almost a YEAR for my ADHD testing results because she couldn't be bothered. She would occasionally make really invalidating comments that felt similar to gaslighting which was quite upsetting. I ended up moving so I switched to a new therapist and Denise made me jump through a hoop to get my records transferred over and she dragged this out for months, ultimately ignoring me so I still haven't been able to get those. My new therapist and I both have tried multiple times to get them from her as well as asking reception all to no resolve/response. I also had a front staff member be inappropriate with me which caused me even more trauma.

Called them a YEAR ago and they said they had a 2-3 month waiting list. They never got back to me until today. Staff is also rather unpleasant and unfriendly to talk to on the phone. Reaching out to this place was most unhelpful and pointless.

I came for the first time to see Denise and loved the bond we made right off!! She is definitely a perfect fit for me! I look forward to many more sessions to come!!! I would rate her a definitely 10+

The staff at A Beautiful Mind are very professional and knowledgeable. They care about their patients and getting us back to our best self. One-on-one treatment is hard to find these days and being able to work with the same therapist is nice!

I started going here when I was 16. I had A LOT going on. One thing I will share is I had AWFUL anxiety, but I got an appointment and from then on I used all the tools my therapist gave me and talked to her once a week and now my anxiety has decreased rapidly and I feel more in control. A beautiful mind helped me gain control back of myself and my life overall. This place and my therapist is amazing!
