ABA Insight

Update: when the BCBA we worked with since starting ABA left, it became a completely different place. They really let me down as far as advocating for his continued therapy and suddenly he is at his “going away” party as if he graduated ABA. After that, it was suggested that my son stay a client until summer but they would only be talking to ME remotely. So they still got to bill the insurance company without doing anything. I understand the spots fill up but to stay there for 8 months with no therapy is a cash grab. I always knew the owner Angie was in it for the money because she told my mom that was it but I didn’t think the BCBA would only be there to make Angie money. My 2 year old son has been attending ABA Insight 5 days a week since May or June 2019 and there have been drastic improvements all across the board! The progress was visible very quickly. The staff is excellent with him and he looks forward to going everyday. I would recommend them to any parent looking for an autism ABA program. My only complaint is that they don't really share much as far as tactics to carry things over to his home environment.

Been meaning to put a review up here for a while. I had a non-verbal 3 year old who’s only form of communication was signing. She that started going to this center 3 months ago. I can’t even begin to explain how much this center has helped my daughter and our family in just this short amount of time. In a month she was starting to communicate and point and use some words and sitting longer and paying attention to things when before she just ran around all day climbing and getting into everything! Now that we have been going for three months she now says at least a hundred words, can sit for activities, and notice a total behavior difference. I realized she is so much more intelligent than I initially thought! She is more accepting of people and starting to make eye contact and socialize with other kids. She absolutely loves going here to “play” and learn. The staff has been wonderful to us and don’t really have a bad thing to say other than I wish they had a full day program. Keep up the good work ladies!

Absolutely love this center. We were totally lost when our son was diagnosed with autism and I was terrified to start ABA with so many horror stories. ABA Insight was so amazing and have changed my sons life. He is now speaking and is now so much happier and I feel I have the knowledge to help him better. Their staff has gone above and beyond for my little guy, super friendly, and very understanding about cost and helps you to the best of their ability to navigate health insurance issues. Highly recommend !

Do not bring your child here! This company is morally corrupt and cares more about money than their clients. Several times my severely autistic son wanted to take a laminated picture home and was refused by management. I understand these things are for therapy, however denying them to him resulted in massive meltdowns each time. So a 5 cent piece of paper is more important to them than my son's emotional well-being. And now they're hounding us for a months worth of co-pays that they had no problem writing off for over a year prior. In addition I rarely saw an actual BCBA on premises nor do they keep decent hours for school aged kids as they close their doors at 6pm.

My 20-year-old son with autism attends ABA therapy sessions in the Lansing satellite facility. I am very happy with the facilities, the staff, their assessment and progress notes and goals, and his progress. I recommend this group if you are looking for ABA services in Lansing.
