ABC Autism Connection

It's been a while and I'm just now sitting down to give my review to these wonderful people who initially gave my daughter aba therapy. I will never forget that day when I was having breakfast and my daughter asked me what I was eating? At that time she had just turned 3 years old and she didn't say a word until that day when she started asking questions. From that day on I knew that she was in the hands of some unique people. Thank you so much. Only parents know how important they are to us. People who help from the heart. I recommend ABC Autism Connection at 💯

My son hasn’t attended here…yet but the owner spoke with me for a good 45 minutes when I called to see if my son was put on the waitlist. Although there was no availability I really appreciated the time she took and some very helpful information that she provided me with. It’s hard sometimes to have someone listen to your concerns and offer solutions without them making you feel like a burden. I was very grateful and hope to experience services with them in the future.

ABC Autism Connection is amazing. By the age of 2 years old my son was diagnosed with severe Autism. He had developmental delays which affected his speech, muscles and learning skills. I was told he would not be able to be potty trained or would ever tie his own shoes. He received OT, Speech, Physical ABA and other services, but it was too overwhelming. At 3 years old we moved and had to start services again. Unfortunately the area we moved to was limited services. Luckily ABC Autism Connection was available. Since day one, Ms. Tawana has been phenomenal with my son. She was a tremendous help. Under her services my son learned to speak, write, read, use the restroom, expand his food palette, learned coping skills, social skills, and became an avid reader. His IQ scores have been above average. He maintains A/B honor roll and excels in state testing. The only therapy/Autism services he received from the age of 3 to present day (10 years old now) has been ABA therapy with Ms. Tawana. We are forever grateful for all the hard work and dedication she showed my son. She demonstrates compassion, commitment, integrity, dedication and love for what she does. If you are looking for ABA services, I recommend ABC Autism Connection. The owner, Ms. Tonya has worked with my son also. She’s amazing and truly loves working with the children. My son built relationships with all the staff members and an unconditional love for them all. In my opinion no other ABA therapy clinic compares to this one.

Like everyone I honestly have no words to express my gratitude to every single person who works at ABC Autism. My son started seeing Mrs. Tawanna when he was 4 1/2 years old and barely speaking with multiple sensory and behavior issues. Every time he was with her she went above and beyond the call of what she needed to. The entire staff did. They genuinely loved my son, cared about him as a person and did everything they could to make sure he would succeed. The entire staff are truly miracle workers and after 3 years he “graduated” from ABC Autism and thrives in school. I can only think that is because of the love and care he received from Mrs. Tawanna and all the wonderful ladies there. We miss them dearly everyday and would recommend their faculty to everyone!!

Tawanna and Tonya were amazing with our son. You could tell that they genuinely cared about him and worked so hard to accomplish his goals. My son absolutely loved going here. We have moved and haven’t had any luck finding anyone who pushed our son so much. Other locations seemed to treat ABA therapy more like a “daycare”, but here they were all about pushing my son to his limits to see him succeed. They are the kindest people and I’m so glad we got to work with them. I would absolutely recommend anyone needing ABA therapy to go to ABC Autism Connection!

I can’t begin to think where would my daughter be if she didn’t receive the attention she received at ABC Autism Connection. My daughter started her therapy at this location on October 2014 until August 2015. When my daughter started she was non-verbal, however with the assistance from her therapist April and the rest of the team my daughter was speaking full sentences within 6 months of daily therapy. The one on one sessions I think is what helped her the most. The constant report I received from the staff allowed me to know my daughter’s strength and weakness. I recommend this place to anyone in the the Killeen area, hands down the best of the best. The staff is very respectful and very attentive with the children. I am hoping to one day tell my story on an opened media source and speak on how much ABC autism connection changed my life and the life of my daughter.
