Abilis offers a range of services that strive to cater to the needs of their clients, with dedicated workers in certain locations who truly go above and beyond. These employees are a shining example of professionalism and commitment, providing exceptional care and support. However, my experience with Abilis also exposed some concerning issues that cannot be ignored. While some homes and their management uphold the highest standards, there have been instances of unprofessional behavior that deeply detract from the overall experience. It's disheartening to encounter workers who demean and make fun of clients, actions that not only reflect poorly on the organization but also potentially harm the emotional well-being and physical safety of those in their care. Even more alarming is the recorded evidence of workers engaging in behavior that puts clients at risk within their living space. Such actions have absolutely no place in an environment that is supposed to prioritize safety and support for vulnerable individuals. This aspect raises serious concerns about the hiring process and training provided to staff members, as well as the overall management oversight. There have also been notable instances of speeding and reckless driving at the hands of various workers which put others lives at detriment. While Abilis undoubtedly has some dedicated and commendable individuals in their employ, the presence of unprofessionalism and potential danger to clients is deeply troubling. It's crucial for the company to address these issues promptly and take concrete steps to ensure that all clients receive the utmost care, respect, and safety they deserve.
