Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
Kindness lady assisted with my questions related to Stone county office.
My son attend Abilities First for kindergarten. Kindergarten started off well , after Christmas break Abilities First informed me that my son is have several behavioral issues and he was a distraction and disrupting the flow of the classroom. Abilities First suggested medication and ABA therapy and couldn't support my son. Also Abilities First doesn't have a diverse staff. Like I said it started off well , and ended terrible. Unfortunately this autism learning center couldn't support an a child diagnosed with autism.
Brought my daughter here because it use to be a nice place horrible it’s the kids working there don’t know much about kids my daughter always sick or they stay tryna put her out. Can’t never tell me where her things are and some how she use 50 diapers up in 2 weeks and she go three days a weeks. 6 cans of milk in two weeks the worker don’t want to be there early. They told me I need note if I don’t want my 11 month old to eat meat but they sit and give them sugar all day. Let my daughter go hours without a bottle no one called just when I pick her up she need milk. But let her go with out called my phone 6 time for her to be picked up because she had diarrhea got her picked up in 30 min it was gone I guess they turned it off but she can’t come for 24 hrs this place is a joke
I’d give it one star if I could. They say they lead in children with disabilities like autism but don’t know how to handle or care for them. Then they will give up on your child and leave you high and dry. They will kick your child out but say they care about their well being yet leave you to quit your job and become homeless cause you don’t have proper child care. lol biggest joke I’ve ever come across. And my son who does have autism started their class for children with autism and literally picked up on what the other kids where doing and has since regressed in his disability. I am contacting the state to talk to them about their curriculum and how they are state certified for what they says is specializing in children with autism. Also somehow my son was able to escape their playground area not once but twice screaming mommy and daddy and make it to the busy road right in Middletown only to almost get hit. If you’re looking to bury your child then this is the place for you. If you love and cherish your child then stay away from this worthless excuse of a daycare
After our home district was a disaster for our daughter.. I did lots of research, tours, phone calls… I gave my trust to abilities first and their staff to not only teach my daughter but to treat her with kindness, compassion and patience . They did just that, plus some. We started with their summer program and are now in their preschool. And I have to say every part of this place has exceeded our expectations. My daughter has grown socially and academically. She begs to go to school and we feel safe bringing her every day. Grateful is an understatement!!
Been taking my kids here for a few years and we have a positive experience everytime! 🙂
An incredible team of professionals dedicated to inclusion!
Very wonderful and helpful people
I am currently putting resources together to help parents with children with special abilities(like us) who move into the area, have access to facility information. I want to try and help gather this information for them so they can concentrate on the move and transition their children to their new environment.
The employees are awesome! From Jan at the top. All the way across are wonderful! Thank ya'll for your dedication. Blessings2ya'll
