Ability Plus Mental Health Clinic

This place is a dam joke... These folks called my phone at 8pm and they were laughing loud and said "mental health" then hung up as if it was a prank phone call i will be reporting this facility to the state soon as they open. Yall emailed me during the day around noon, but call at 8pm playing on my phone.. Craziest part is i havent made an appointment yet, i only inquired about coming...I will be going elsewhere.

I became a patient of Trikenya a couple of months ago. They told me that I needed to create a patient portal account. I could not create an account because it conflicted with the portal account that I use for my primary care Dr. I told them that, and they said they would have someone call me to straighten it out. I never got a call about that. The only way I could contact Trikenya was thru an admin email. they do not allow phone calls. I have been having problems with sleeping too much. Trikenya prescribed a med that I had a very bad mental reaction to. I stopped it after the 1st dose, but the med stayed in my system for 2 days. I emailed their office for 2 days trying to get Trikenya to call me back because I was in crisis. she never called. Instaed, I get an email 3 days later from the admin person that said that the only way to contact them was by using the portal. I respomded letting them know that there was a problem creating a portal account, which they were aware of, and also let them know that I would not be using them again. I was ignored when I was so mentally messed up from a drug they prescribed, that I was ready to go to the ER. They make it impossible to reach your provider, and I feel that ignoring me was completely irresponsible. I do not recommend them.

Marie Myrick was wonderful to work with. Ability plus however was completely unprofessional. The communication was so off with these people that I have had to go over a week without my medication. This is so dangerous for people! As for getting it again, the hoops that I've had to go through to even find out what's happening is absolutely ridiculous. I will never use them again.

I am seeing Marie, and she is the best psychiatrist I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been treating my mental health since I was 17. She makes me feel like I have a decision in my care. I am always very distrustful of people even after a long time knowing them, and she recognizes this and reassures me each time that I’m in good hands. I genuinely think she understands and cares from a personal level. She is insightful and I’ve learned more about my mental health from her than I have from anyone who has treated me.

Dr. Ananga is the best psychiatrist I’ve had. She truly cares and works hard with you to make sure your medications are actually helping. She listens to all concerns and addresses them in the moment. Truly values your input on medications and never tries to force a plan onto you. The receptionist is very kind and helpful always. Easily the best practice in Tallahassee.

Carmelisa Baptiste is by far the best! I've been a patient of hers for 2 years, and I can't imagine seeing anyone else. She actually cares, and you're not just a patient or a number to her. She's super easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, empathetic, compassionate, and LISTENS. (See you in 2 weeks!)
