If you want therapy, you first need to be honest with yourself. And honesty comes with a price - positivity is not inherently virtuous, nor are our wishes made manifest by our efforts simply because we have set goals. We have all heard that when all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail. Ms. Jones has one tool in her toolbox - seeking silver linings. If you want therapy go somewhere else. Endless positivity is not therapeutic. It's ego stroking and confidence boosting, but it has a counterintuitive effect upon our egos. The more people encourage us the more we believe in the validity of our own ways. If we're wrong we need to be told we're wrong. Ms. Jones is not capable of entertaining intellectual discussion. She often fell asleep during our sessions even while drinking coffee. She failed to recall even the most basic parts of information from my traumatic experiences. Her notetaking skills likely have not progressed since she was a teenager, yet she believes in herself, as far as that goes. Her one tool is positivity, and no matter what you say she's just going to respond with whatever cliché hopeful statement she can make up in a few seconds. I told this woman every session how much I loathe small talk, I explained numerous times how I feel existential dread - an impending doom from the creator if I make a mistake about anything - when asked to summarize 'how my weekend was' (why do you think I'm in therapy??)(I can go to my psychiatrist and say the same thing - he says 'me too' and asks relevant questions - and the meeting is over. Is that too much to ask?) Every week she starts off the session asking me how my mom is, how my weekend was, and if I like the current weather. If you want honesty from your therapist you have to find a good one. There are no good ones at this office. And for the record - These people were asking me for a positive review during my first session. I went to this office for 6 months. Complete waste of time. P.S. Look at the reply to my review -- These people take no responsibility for their lack of substance, and claim they tailor their services to each client. How would I be here saying that they did exactly NOT THAT but they're just going to call me a liar? What professionals! Liars! Why would I write this review if I was actually just full of myself? I got sick of never getting any progress, Ms Jones does the only thing she knows how - find a silver lining. She doesn't know how to address trauma in any other way, so that's what you get. How pathetic for them to respond to my review to reframe it. How dare they try to be anyone's therapist.

Highly recommend!!! I've been seeing Ms. Jones for a few months now and I have to say I was really skeptical about seeing a counselor in general however I'm super glad that I did. Ms. Jones has made me feel comfortable and gave me a judgement free place to be able to release my stress and worries and even things I NEVER talked about or wanted to talk about she's been helping me work thru a lot of things so that I'm able to get a clear understanding or a better way of handling things. My daughter is about to start seeing Ms. Jones as well and I can't wait for that!!!

My two children are both patients of Ms. Jones for about two months now and it’s been an absolute blessing. My son who is 9 and my daughter who is 7 both very different interests and personalities absolutely adore her. They play games, do puzzles all while giving them an outlet to talk about whatever it is going on in their lives. I couldn’t recommend Ms. Jones and Abundant life services enough!

I would recommend Ms. Harris to anyone who is looking for a counselor who specializes in many types of therapy. I have been seeing her for over a year now and see how much progress I’ve made. She’s great at listening and giving great feedback on things I can implement at home or in my personal life. She truly builds a rapport with her clients and cares about them. I’ve been to many counselors in the past, but no one comes close to the skills and mindset she has with her clients.

Life changing therapy and counseling. The atmosphere is welcoming and calming. I’m able to gain strength and adress my concerns with out feeling judged. Mrs.Harris is wonderful at she does and I’m truly blessed for her helping me through it all. I would recommend my family and friends 10-10 I recommend! -Richelle
