Don't trust these sick people

I cannot recommend Acclaim. After my son’s behavior worsened, I reviewed his records and found repeated “full physical prompting,” including physically guiding him back into a private room after he left it. I also discovered that a major treatment program had been discontinued without my knowledge, with conflicting explanations about who stopped it and when. After I raised treatment-plan concerns with leadership, my son’s trusted home BHT was abruptly removed. PerformCare was later told that I had asked Acclaim to stop his reauthorization—I had never made that request. Before several unresolved follow-up issues could be addressed, Acclaim discharged him. These concerns are being reported to the appropriate oversight agencies. I would not trust this agency with my child again.

Soon as my son started at Acclaim I noticed a big change from his language to how he handles things. I’m forever grateful for all staff involved in helping.
