Action Behavior Centers Four Points - ABA Therapy for Autism

Our son was born autistic and unable to speak (even to this day at 5yrs old), unable to communicate in any form (not even by pointing, gesturing, guiding, etc), unable to feed himself, unable to follow simple directions, nor engage in any meaningful interactions with others. Life at home was difficult for both him and the rest of us as we struggled to figure out his needs and how to help him understand that he needed to communicate with us in any form. We enrolled him at ABC in March of 24’, and we only have wonderful things to say about their program and the staff. The screeching has stopped, and the frustration of not being able to express himself has pretty much disappeared. He is now able to effectively use an AAC device to string words together to communicate his needs with us. He feeds himself with a spoon, he follows simple directions, He is able to identify people, shapes, colors, numbers, etc, and has greatly grown in his social interactions with others. This has drastically changed the dynamic of our home in the best ways! It quickly dissolved my guilt in dropping him off at therapy all day, knowing that he wakes up every morning bouncing at the front door, excited to go to a place where he is given undivided attention, love, affection, and most importantly, specific and continuous help that i cannot provide for him at home. The people that work at the center are always so warm, welcoming, and eager to see him, and he absolutely loves them. I know there are some long days for them, as they are doing a gracious work; but i have never felt that attitude from them. They somehow keep up with the kids’ energy all day! Shout out to Hope— a warm and reassuring presence who is always on top of everything and always available to provide answers, resources, guidance, and keeps us busy parents on track. We’re grateful to Breanne with her techs who have so patiently guided our son forward in leaps and bounds, pushing him in all the ways he is capable and demonstrating to us his many capabilities. We have been beyond blessed by ABC and highly recommend it to any family looking for a great therapy center where your kids will be helped and cherished.

It is hard to find the words to describe my experience at ABC Four Points, but I think the best word is magical. Whether you love or hate Walt Disney, he did create the phrase, “The happiest place on Earth,” to encapsulate the feeling of joy and wonder that he wanted visitors to experience when he opened the first theme park. When I started my career as a social worker in foster care, my incredibly dedicated and talented superior taught us that creating that kind of “Disney magic” can be the difference between a child surviving and persisting against all odds or just doing okay or even worse… not doing okay at all. He taught me that the joy and wonder that a caregiver can impart onto a child through love, planning, and preparation can be transformational, and it has been one of the most important lessons in my life. I don’t think there is a place that embodies that mentality more than ABC Four Points. The staff there feel like family. Hope, the Director, has taken time to get to know our family and checks-in frequently to ensure her team is meeting our family’s every need. Sadie, at the front, greets us with a smile, everyday, and spreads joy throughout the center with treats for staff and kids alike. Our BCBA, Breanne has helped navigate difficult transitions as we decide what will be the next step for our kiddo when they graduate. The RBTs from Josh, Tanner, Andrea, Emma, Tiffany, Amber, Bre, Serafina and so many more…have all done their best to help our child reach their social, emotional, and academic learning goals. There have been a few changes with staff over the year we’ve been there… but it’s not because they quit! Their staff is dedicated and are often taking additional trainings and certifications to continue their development. ABC has a professional track for the RBTs (the day to day teachers) to become BCBA’s (the case managers that track behavior and help your family set goals). Anyone who has left, for us personally, has been promoted to a different center or moved states. That being said, anytime there is someone new… They are the perfect fit. ABC Four Points does a tremendous job of finding teachers and clinical staff that love and respect kids of all abilities, every time. The moment I knew this place was Disney Magic was when my child had their 5th birthday. They hand-made Mario themed decorations that blew my mind! They had decorations for the walls, a personalized mask for my child, but the show stopper (in my opinion) was a Super Mario Themed Power Up question box, so my child could jump up and down in their Mario mask and physically hit the question box. They magically transported my child into their favorite video game on their birthday. It’s more than a center and a school. It’s a mentality of transforming a child and their family’s life, one day at a time. This place is truly the happiest place on Earth for my child and our family, and we are eternally grateful for their time, effort, and love.

We truly can’t say enough good things about our experience with ABA therapy at ABC Center 4 Points location for Nate. From day one, the support, warmth, and dedication from his care team has been absolutely incredible. Jamie, Rachel, Amber, and the entire staff have made such a difference—not only in Nate’s life, but in ours as a family. Every time we walk through the door, we’re greeted with genuine smiles and a sense of care that’s hard to put into words. It’s clear that everyone there truly loves what they do, and it shows in how they work with Nate. We’re so excited for this journey and beyond grateful to have such an amazing team walking alongside us. Watching Nate grow, learn, and thrive has been the most rewarding experience, and we can’t wait to see all the progress he’ll continue to make.

Our experience with ABC at Four Points has been absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, we felt surrounded by a team that not only supports our son with professionalism and care, but also genuinely loves and understands him. Andrea, the amazing BCBA, has been an anchor in our son’s progress, thoughtfully guiding his therapy and celebrating every milestone alongside us. Thanks to her leadership and the dedication of the entire therapy team: Dez, Olivia, Josh, Karri, Kaitlyn, Mimi, Sam, Kendra, Eva, and Niza. Their combined dedication and warmth have created an environment where our son thrives every day. Our son has made amazing gains. His speech has improved, he’s much more social, seeks attention, and enjoys playing with us and others. He’s better at communicating his needs and wants and has learned to share his feelings and thoughts openly. A major milestone was learning to potty, which dramatically boosted his confidence and independence. Our son comes home happy every day after ABA, and that joy says so much about how much he loves being there. Knowing he’s in such compassionate and capable hands means everything to us as parents. The clinic itself is clean and bright, with great big areas where the kids can eat and play together, encouraging social skills and friendships. Special thanks to Hope, the current Clinic Operations Manager, and to Claire, the previous Operations Manager, who helped us feel welcome and supported during our early days at the clinic; and to Sadie, the Clinic Admissions Associate, who always makes you feel so welcome. I truly hope the entire team knows how much they are impacting these kids’ lives and what amazing human beings they are. I am forever grateful for every single one of them and for the incredible work they do. We are so grateful to be part of the ABC at Four Points family and wholeheartedly recommend them to any family seeking high-quality, compassionate ABA therapy.

Dr. Tracy Raulston is an innovative BCBA who actively remains up-to-date with current research so that her clients receive the best services possible. She naturally interacts with young children on the spectrum in a way that is calm, naturalistic, and scientifically-supported.
