Our son is on the autism spectrum and requires assistance in high school. We questioned whether the program would really help as we have tried similar programs in the past, but the Pheno rep told us we had nothing to lose as they have a money back guarantee. We fully completed the program - worked very hard at it and fully documented - and saw no improvement. In fact our son's school told us that he regressed. Pheno Brain Training would not honor their guarantee and wanted us to spend more with them to continue the program. No thanks.
Their Cognitive skills test sounded very interested so I applied for evaluation. Afterwards, I received exercises to practice at home which proved to be very helpful.
Recently we did a cognitive testing and training at Pheno Brain Training. Our child had a great experience and felt comfortable. I highly recommend them.
Pheno works! We found Pheno through a friend whose son was in the program. She knew the struggles our 13 year old, Ben, was having in school - low retention, poor memory, difficulty with math, well below grade level reading, etc. Although Ben studied every day after school and on the weekends, he just could not retain most of the information. Ben is not dyslexic, nor ADHD, nor have any type of disability, he simply could not properly process the information, nor access it. In addition, Ben struggled with certain motor skills. After our first meeting with George, and after their assessment of Ben's processing levels, we were on board with the program. Last week Ben "graduated" Pheno! He is earning all A's and B's in school, is completing all classwork IN class, is completing most homework assignments in class, and best of all, he is retaining the information and able to recall. On top of that, his social skills have greatly improved as well as his physical abilities - he can not believe how well he can throw a baseball now and is considering trying out for pitcher next season! He now has an addition 2-3 hours of free time after school! WOOT! Thank you George! Pheno has done so much for Ben! It is so good to see him confident, composed, and having fun!
