Our daughter has severe non verbal autism and has been going to therapy since she was 2. When we moved to Hampton, w continud to drive her to VB for her sessions for almost 2 years. We finally made the switch to adler in Newport News and WOW! I thought she had good therapists, but now she has AMAZING therapists. They have been so patient and calm with her. They have pushed her when needed but met her where she is! They connect with hwr and allow her to be herself. When she "speaks" up, or shows she needs something, they listen. They are amazing therapists and we are so lucky to have found them. Special shout out to her specific therapists Mrs. Courtney (speech) Mrs. Devon (OT) but every therapist there seems happy to be there! Not to mention, their facility is set up FOR THE KIDS. Give them a try, you and your child will wish you had sooner, we do!
Ms Devon is so amazing. She is very wonderful with my son. I really couldn't ask for a better therapist .

My son’s speech therapist Shannon is amazing !!! We moved her a few months ago and she did his evaluation. She was very enthusiastic, energetic, and genuinely seems to love her job. My son is very happy and high energy and she matches it each time we see her. He looks forward to seeing her twice a week. She’s very good communicating and doing a schedule that works for us. So happy we found her and my son is making great strives and loves her

My son sees Shannon Williams at the Newport News location. She is phenomenal ! She has worked with my son for almost 2 years and he has made incredible strive in his speech.We credit her for all her amazing work! We are truly grateful for her and the staff is all so kind ! Thank you Adler therapy !
They are all nice, and they work with your schedule to ensure your kids receive the service they need. The front desk also knows all the kids when they arrive. My son just started, and we've only been there four times so far, so the front desk already knows who we are. All the staff are friendly.
I do not recommend for toddlers!!! My son just turned 4 and has been going here for around 9months for speech it’s a 30min session every Friday but his therapist pulls him 10min behind schedule just about every session and brings him back 5min before his time is up. They are terrible with keeping appointments canceling at least once every month only for me to turn around and be harassed by Melinda for a $50 no show fee for not canceling 24hours in advance when they’re the ones who cancelled. I’ve downloaded the exact app they use and have been working with my son everyday and have seen a tremendous difference. Also to all military families this is the place Tricare wants to send us all but I advise against it. Do your own research and find a therapy group that wants more than your money and insurance.
My experience with Adler Therapy service was amazing. They have given me the best occupational therapist name Cassidy and she did a phenomenal service for my baby girl. She helps my baby accomplish many goals that we have set for her. She has given me hope that my baby will go beyond her expectations of her having angel man syndrome. I wish her service will go out to Newport News but I know she’ll do amazing service for others baby that’ll need her help. Thank you Cassidy for helping my baby and I hope you have many blessing coming your way.
