Liked my therapist who abruptly left and I only found out when I couldn’t reach her. I called the office and they didn’t return my call and I had to call a second time and spoke to someone who told me she left and they told me they contacted all of her patients, but I never received any call. This is very upsetting for a therapist relationship to literally talk to her one week and then find out that she left the next. I understand it was the therapist’s decision, but there had to have been a better way to handle the situation. I also don’t appreciate that to even schedule an appointment, I had to provide my credit card on their website. This does not feel like a very caring and supportive environment. Seemed very cold and transactional.
Therapists are well trained and professional. The online option is very convenient, too!
