Advanced Psychiatric Associates

For 3 years I have been harassed by the billing department over deceptive billing practices. This business is 1) Fraudulent in its billing practices 2) Will engage in aggressive levels of harassment including threatening collections for amounts that it has not proven, or even attempted to show, that you owe. 3) Continue to harass you and demand payment after you have paid the billing office, again threatening to send to collections. After I had left the state and was no longer a patient I received a very confusing billing statement that indicated that I owed over $700. It did not indicate what this was for. The first contact said that I was being sent to collections. I attempted to contact the billing office a number of times via email enquiring about the bill and what it was for, and why I wasn't billed at the time of service (they had indicated that my insurance was paying in full). Two of the appointments I was being billed for were dated when I had already left the state. My emails were never returned. After 3 years of this on and off I finally did get a hold of billing. While I strongly disagreed with the bill I settled it for $500 to just be done with it. I received a receipt, and verbal assurance that this payment took care of everything. Today I continue to receive emails and texts demanding money or I'll be sent to collections. I will be looking to make a complaint with the state agency overseeing fraudulent billing practices and aggressive collections tactics. While the care here may be ok, the business side is harassing and fraudulent. I would stay away.

Brought my mother, who has been struggling with anxiety and depression for years to this office. They were amazing. Professionally, provided my mother with options and held her hand throughout the entire process. Highly recommend Dr. Yero was incredibly kind and helpful. If you are struggling with anxiety or depression I highly recommend making an appointment. You will not be disappointed, over the last two years we have gone to about 20 different doctors and Dr. Yero has been the best. His staff was just as helpful. I have no affiliation to this office just wanted to provide and honest review for anyone struggling.

Dr. Isidro, Dr. Yero, and Dr. Carlin have been life changing for me. As a team, they exemplify excellence in psychiatric care, blending compassion, expertise, and unwavering support. I have gone to the practice for nearly a decade and have never had a problem with appointments, payments, or medication refills. Yes, they are out of network, as many offices are; they are worth every penny. If you're looking for a psychiatric team that genuinely cares and delivers outstanding care, I highly recommend Advanced Psychiatric Associates.

Advanced Psychiatric Associates has gone above and beyond in providing comprehensive psych care for my circumstances over the past 2 yrs with such grace, professionalism and kindness. I owe them my life and endless admiration and appreciation. Thank you to the Florham Park office (my home office) but the entire practice has always shown nothing but consideration for an individual’s dignity.
