Affinity Family Support Services

The owner Patty Potter (executive director) is very unprofessional. She would have parents sign visit dates months after presumed visits.(for payments from insurance) BUT did not see client. Also during pandemic when crisis and clients need therapy the most SHE never called or scheduled appointments. The client was dropped and never answered the phone. Had to look for new therapist. I was told they would never recommend Affinity for services. I would also NEVER recommend. Only in it for the money. UNPROFESSIONAL.

Only created more problems for me if Im ever going to see another therapist in the future as I had to sit on and lay across therapists here as a child, maintain eye contact, and keep my arms wrapped around them or we started over. Worst therapists I've ever had. I’ve also had people reach out to me after I made a previous review and they told me how it messed them up even more than they were when they went in. They’re in the process of a lawsuit to get this place shut down. -10/10 do not go here. If I, myself, could shut them down I very well would. They only created more problems. Never solved a single one of my issues.

I was researching family counseling for a friend when I started reading the reviews on this facility. I am giving this a 1 because of the manner in which the facility responded to previous clients reviews. I was mortified with the lack of professionalism.

Never answers calls, rarely calls back after leaving several messages. It's good if you can get in but the fact they're so hard to reach is really unprofessional.

To my knowledge, one of the only places in or around Erie that specializes in adoption/separation type trauma. Very knowledgeable, caring, and well trained staff.
