Butterfly Effects

Horrible dishonest people. They don't care at all if your child get sessions or not. They push you into parent training, everytime you ask where is the therapist or when we can start sessions. Waste of time.

My child had an incident where she was hurt by two children at this center in one day. She is special needs, and not able to communicate to us anything that happens at therapy, or any other day for that matter. She was thankfully able to say in one word she was hurt. I was not made aware of this at all by the school. They have a website for parents where every detail of the child's day is documented for the parents to see. These events were conveniently not listed at all. Despite them admitting later, when confronted, that these were major events in her day, they did not have it on the website, and told me at pick up that she had a wonderful day. When I confronted them, they admitted it happened. I was told these events had her upset for a considerable amount of time. They later said the therapist Yvette was new and probably just forgot. If my child had not been able to say that one word, I do not know if I would have ever been made aware of this. Parents should ALWAYS be made aware of a child being hurt at school. I should have been called to pick her up if she was crying for nearly an hour obviously wanting to go home. This was traumatic for her all around. Very heartbreaking for us to say the least. We trusted them.

Highly recommend!! I was nervous about sending my son to therapy full time, but it was the best decision. They have loved and cared for my entire family. My son has improved leaps and bounds with his speech, potty training, reading and more. He is well prepared for Kindergarten now. I am forever grateful to Butterfly Effects Independence Center. Simply the best!

Butterfly Effect, has a great staff. And making a huge differences on the life of my grandson. They are very patient. They communicate well with families. Great job.

Butterfly effects has done nothing but fail my child. From the amount of employee turnover to no communication at all. They have done nothing for us to help but only hender my son's progress. I hope they truly make some changes.

Claire sees my daughter daily and every morning she is smiling with positive encouragement, even if my daughter is giving resistance getting out of the car. Jodi, Claire and Valerie use creative and compassionate techniques that keep my child engaged and motivated during sessions. We’ve seen huge improvements in communication, social interactions, and everyday routines. Our family feels incredibly supported, and we’re so grateful to have found them, skilled and passionate about helping children reach their full potential. My son was going for a while.It was great when first started and then it became a problem, they decided to dismiss my child from the center and school services.I didn't want to take him out.But due to the misunderstanding did they discharge him

My son went to therapy here for two years before they ended his services abruptly . At first , he made a lot of progress . However , as time progressed, we started noticing that he wasn’t making any progress. Up until I mentioned medication to help him focus , everything was okay . I noticed that after meds were mentioned it was a push to do the meds . All of a sudden all of his regular behaviors were problem behaviors . All of a sudden they couldn’t focus on targets due to constant redirecting. I knew they were getting ready to end his services when they started emailing me about everything , basically creating a paper trail . I always had a feeling of discernment towards Sammy . She doesn’t make good eye contact which lets me know that she knew she was being low down . She made up this extravagant story about being caught in traffic the day they wanted to tell us his services ended so she didn’t have to be there . I liked prahkya but her hands may be just as dirty . As far as the rbts , I liked them for the most part , especially Mr Charles. My son responded well to him .
