Poor oversight, lack of trained providers, and shady billing practices. My insurance was billed for sessions that did not occur. Other sessions were billed incorrectly to insurance, affecting my copay. We had only three actual sessions with a (porky trained) BT before she quit. We didn’t even have any with a replacement bt before that one quit. This was extremely disruptive to our routines, which was distressing to my autistic child. We also had been told that the bcba would be at all to start to oversee the bt, but he was actually only there via zoom which was not effective at all. By the end we got nothing positive out of it, just a $900 bill after insurance. ABA in general is controversial, but this company should definitely by avoided.
Our daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and we were referred for ABA therapy. All About ABA has been very helpful navigating the beginning of our journey. Our daughter enjoys time with her in home therapist and has been growing and thriving.
