Consistent lack of competency, professionalism, and responsiveness by staff This provider does not send qualified or adequately trained personnel to the sessions. The assigned therapist consistently fails to engage in any meaningful way—spending most of the session quietly observing rather than intervening or facilitating interactions. When parents are engaging with the child, the therapist remains passive, offering no guidance or input. The only “activity” suggested is to “play,” yet the therapist does not participate or model play skills; instead, the child is simply left to do the activity alone.To make matters worse, the therapist repeatedly delivers the same shallow monologue of generic encouragement while appearing to be more focused on his computer or phone than on the child’s progress or parent interaction. This level of disengagement is unacceptable and completely unproductive. Additionally, staff shows a serious lack of communication and accountability. Calls are not returned when promised, emails go unanswered, and there is a complete disregard for timely and transparent communication. Despite multiple conversations and reminders, the treatment plan has not been implemented as discussed, and my concerns as a parent have been ignored or dismissed.
I was trying to get services for around 5 months from this place only to get minimal communication from them about the insurance process. We recently figured out from our insurance case manager that All Star pulled out of working with the insurance and no one from the org ever let me know. They could have saved me so much wasted time and struggles over the summer.
