This place has the kindest staff and the most loving approach to persons with special or extra needs. They are very careful and cognizant of how they deal with people at every level, especially certain over stimulations or sensitivities. This is not a job that you can just hire people to do. This is something that must be a calling. The people at AAC truly are "called" to their gifts in this autism center! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Charged me $70 because we were going to be 20 minutes late due to car trouble. Ended up not being able to go at all. Tried to explain our situation over the phone but they did not care, they wanted our money and that's all. My family lives paycheck to paycheck so taking $70 from me, is literally taking food out of my kids mouths. We have not returned since because of this and my son was so devastated because he really enjoyed going and he did get alot of it. This is on you guys for being money first and people second. Yall can go straight to hell.

I didn't get the chance to have a physical experience with this place as the one phone conversation I had with a receptionist by the name of Irene was enough to stop me from wanting to be tested in southern Alabama at all. The second I inquired about adult autism testing at this facility, Irene made it their mission to deter me. Irene laid out every reason as to why I shouldn't schedule an appointment with them as opposed to encouraging me for being brave enough to address an issue that is OFTEN overlooked in women. I hope your experience will be better than mine. I hope you speak to someone other than Irene.

We have had the best experience here! My son sees Miss Jennifer for PT, Miss Patricia for speech and Miss Ryan for OT.... they are all amazing! The staff goes above and beyond! They have been so helpful and just wonderful! I feel so thankful and blessed having my son in such great hands!!!! Thank you all so very much!!!! And Miss Eileen at the front desk is the best! We love it here and recommend it highly!

This place is AMAZING!!! We have seen great progress since coming here. Miss Patricia and Miss Gabby are absolutely amazing. Their patience and caring show in the progress made. And we don't want to leave out Miss Eileen! She is so friendly and welcoming! So blessed to be working with everyone!!

So thankful for AARC! They have been such a blessing to my daughter & me. I can’t sing enough praises. From Ms. Eileen & Katlyn at the front desk, to our OT, Mrs. Gabby, Natalia always looks forward to her appointments. And she loves when she gets to stop by Mrs. Julie’s office to see Louie & friends! 🐾 The entire staff is incomparable & I completely trust my daughter’s care to them.

AARC has the most amazing, well educated, loving staff members! Our grandchild is not just a client to them. They are invested in his success! His program is designed just for him and his specific needs. His therapists involve us and value our input. The team effort feeling radiates from every aspect of this facility! Our James Thomas would never have come this far without their help. He has come so far with their guidance and caring instruction. We are earnestly grateful to all of them there (Front desk, therapists, volunteers, management, the whole lot of them!)

Great place! My daughter was tested for Autism here. She had a very good experience. She has attended summer camps and enjoyed them. Their Sensory Trick or Treat is awesome! Such caring and compassionate staff. We’ve not had a single bad experience here. The owner/OT Julie is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She went out of her way to assist me in making social connections for my daughter. I would definitely recommend AARC to anyone in need of testing or therapy for their child.
