Was a patient of a therapist currently at this location back in 1997. I was desperate to get help. My experience was not appropriate and my situation didn't get better. Years later I ordered a copy of my medical records. I was told that I called at the right time because my records were on the shred cart. I was told that it would take several days for them to make copies and that I would have to pay $35 for the copies. I agreed to pay and was very thankful that I would be able to have these important records. I called 3 days later to see if my records were ready for pick up. The office staff female worker stated she didn't know what I was talking about. She said that they don't have any medical records for me. My heart sank and I was confused and hurt. We just talked days prior. I asked her to talk to all the office staff to see if maybe I talked to a different female worker. She puts me on hold and comes back stating that no one knows anything about medical records for......and she states my name. How can that be? This doesn't make sense! I just talked to a female office receptionist a few days ago.......And, there you have it. My important to me medical records magically disappeared and were never seen again and no one knows what I'm talking about. Was it a cover-up? Like I said things were inappropriate and because I was only 21 at the time, I didn't know that I could have a voice to speak up. I just wanted help.
