After going back and forth with their coordinator through email for a MONTH to set our couples therapy sessions, filling out all the required documents, they abruptly cancelled our intake session THE DAY OF it, explaining it as not their specialty. Couples therapy. Complete waste of time and unprofessionalism.

I was contacted the day before my appointment, informing me my appointment is cancelled, due to my situation not being their specialty. However, what I am seeking therapy for is listed on their website. I am not understanding as to why my appointment was actually cancelled. Communication is only via email.
