My uncle was on Andwell’s service for two weeks, in those two weeks my uncle felt supported and loved from the beginning. His nurse Megan listened to him and honored his wishes. Amy our social worker was kind and comforting. As a hospice nurse myself, I was able to be the niece and help care for my uncle as a niece. When we weren’t able to manage his symptoms at home, the on call nurse Keith came right over and got my uncle moved to the hospice house within an hour. Dianne the nurse at the house was so kind and comforting. My uncle passed within two hours of being at the hospice house, he was comfortable surrounded by love when he passed. Our family will forever be grateful to Andwell and their care.
Dad was a recent patient of Andwell receiving hospice care at home. As a funeral director I deal a lot with the hospice nurses and hospice houses and understand how amazing you folks are. I have mentioned to many people to consider hospice at times. Dealing directly with it on a personal side this time I needed to say thank you. It was the most amazing, calming, caring, loving experience I could have had. From the first call in to get information the lady answering was warming. Ryan in the hospice area answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. The intake nurse was great, Jasmine dad’s nurse that I meet with so sweet and caring. Making sure she explained everything in a realistic way but also so soothing. When we needed supplies like a hospital bed and Hoya lift it blew me away when they where delivered the very next day in some cases less the 12 hours. Having the Andwell team involved was expected to be wonderful but my expectations were far bypassed by light years. I can not explain the thanks my family and I have for Andwell. Also it starts at the top so thank you to all the incredible people that make this happen.
The people here are nothing short of amazing. We could never have navigated the care for my 89 year old father-in-law. They were incredibly caring and professional. Kim, Suzanne, Laura, Pam, Elissa, and many others were incredible. Thank you and God bless.
Worst healthcare experience I have ever experienced. I am 1/1/2 weeks post spine surgery and I have no in home follow up care. All this because of a missing PCP signature. My PCP had nothing to do with my emergency care and cannot provide info to these people. I guess I will teach myself to walk again like I did when I was a toddler. I now see Why Andwell changes it's name, to escape it's negative tracks.
My great-aunt in Maine, has tried to contact you guys, for home health aid. Absolutely no calls, or messages. Do Better.
I am certain they are very nice to anybody they like; just like any dog is. But they DECLINED US services after a heart attack, and triple bypass:just because of some vague petty dislike from many years ago: that they couldn't even explain or justify! These people are not truly compassionate; or ethical, or they would NOT put their own petty preferences ahead of patient care!!!
