Not nice people at all
My daughter goes there for occupational therapy and she sees Ashley York and she is just wonderful with my daughter, she loves going there ever week.
I got a referral from my PCP to take my son to Sandcastle. After a week I called them and was told I was put on a waiting list and if something opened up they would the call me to schedule an appt. I explained that this was unsatisfactory and that I will just take my son to Portland. They called 2 days later and after talking about our insurance they explained that our deductible hadn't been met. I was surprised considering I was coming off major surgery. I checked up on the deductible and not only that had been met but we were just shy of our out of pocket maximum. I called back and they said they would have to go through billing but we could schedule something. She had offered me June 25th on the first phone call but offered July 2. I explained that the deductible ended at the end of June so that's why I wanted to get this done faster. She then recanted and said "Oh wait yes I do have something for that day." Thanks Carol but due to the ineptness of the staff at Sandcastle I think I'll take my son elsewhere. Shame on St. Mary's for referring people here as well.
They charged us 100's of dollars for services beyond our copays of 35$ because they messed up the pre authorization of services. They don't care and wouldn't even try to understand that we were out around $100's of dollars due to their mistake. Refuse to work with them again.
