Apara Autism Center

My daughter attended this center for just over 2yrs (from ages 3-5). The progress she made here has been remarkable. When she began she was non-verbal and very rigid in her ways. Throughout her time at this center she mastered PECs, began speaking, worked on potty training, increased her social skills, and became more independent overall. The staff at the SA location is wonderful! They are kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. I love that there are cameras everywhere, reporting/updates are provided daily, the BCBAs are very communicative and understanding, parent trainings are provided routinely, and my child was always happy to go “to school”. The only reason we left is because we moved out of state. I cannot say enough great things about this ABA therapy center. They treated my child with respect and kindness and challenged her in ways that helped her stay engaged and thrive. I will forever be grateful for the experience my daughter had at Apara. Thank you to Carie, Ivy, Lorena, Marie, Jana, Sasha, Jojo, and all the other RBTs and BCBAs who worked with our child. This place knows what they are doing, we highly recommend!

Amazing place for Autism per

Amazing center ! My daughter ( 5 ) loves attending her sessions everyday! She’s always so excited. We are very involved parents and we see no issues with staff. They are organized, on top of updates on my little girl. The therapist ( teachers we call them ) are amazing , so sweet , attentive to our little girl. Oscar & Kathryn go above and beyond at this center! The programs my little girl enjoys them and is learning so much. She’s been there since march and we have seen so much progress within her. All thank to these amazing people!

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this center. My 8-year-old nephew left in tears. It’s clear their priorities are financial, not patient care. I was especially concerned with how he was treated by Stephanie Welder, her approach felt anything but supportive. I would not recommend this place to other families. We already have a hard enough time trying to have our autistic children feel respected as it is!

My son has made amazing progress under Oscar and his teams of BCBAs and RBTs. Could not be happier with our decision to choose Apara for him!

Our son loves it here and is thriving! Therapist are very passionate and treat my son with respect. He has a good team and a great game plan. If you’re needing ABA services, this is a place!

As a mother I have received a lot of support and training. My son loves coming to this place. The center does a very good job with the students in terms of teaching and coordinating with parents. Their staff is well trained.

My husband enjoyed watching our son having fun on the bounce houses and the way everyone communicates and takes care of the kids. It was a great experience by Apara Sugarland.

Loved attending the first Family Fun Picnic. The staff works really hard to ensure all clients and their families are taken care of everyday.
