I love Ark. My mom had cerebral pulsay and epilepsy, so this organization makes my heart so warm. My partner works here, so I go to all the events with her. Last night was the Christmas Extravaganza, and they nailed it. Everyone was having so much fun. We even won a prize and got some delicious sandwiches and veggies 😋😋 I have been to all their plays in the last couple of years, and I have to say they put on quite the show! I will continue to support and show up for them and the events they do for the humans they have under their care 🥳❤️
Excellent philosophy and attention to client needs! Love this organization!
Was horrifying. I actually stopped caregiving for awhile. I was pregnant with my baby girl, and my supervisor was requiring me to paint, deep clean and climb on my shift. It was reported to HR which was sending me rude emails. They allowed me to be disrespected by my onsite supervisor, I went to my supervisor who was requiring me to to the tasks and she shrugged it off. I got injured on the job, almost miscarried my daughter, and on a night when it was below zero temperature and the closed the roads in the town, she said because I was scheduled that night, I was required to make it into work. When getting injured on the job, Bob Sells met with me, and they said they had no work for me anymore, they denied my workmens comp, in which I had to get an attorney for. They denied resposibility for the injury and near death of my daughter. There were staff abusing the residence and it was reported, of course to Ark, because they choose " not to have state interference" unless necessary. There was also massive abuse to the staff, by the residence and nothing was done. Its a huge facade put on. It is unsafe, and its not worth your health and safety to even apply here. I know from personal experience. Three years later, I have tons of medical bills and limited on jobs I am physically capable of doing because of the injury and their negligence!
Very caring people they have working here - met a college aged young man named Kevin at the Laramie Walmart who was patiently, efficiently and expertly helping his clients shop. I was very impressed!
I have never met a group of people who care more for people with intellectual disabilities.
