My daughter was on the waitlist for a year and a half (after being told it was a 1-2 month wait). I finally got THE call and was so excited. The BCBA called me the following week to discuss the next steps (my daughter had never been seen in person by a single person). I was told that I was being offered parent training only because my daughter is considered aggression, so they’re not going to send an 18-19 year old RBT out to treat her. She apologized for the “miscommunication”. I called the woman who called me to begin with. Of course she needed to talk to someone else. It’s 5 months and many texts later, and I never heard from Cecily. The only reason I don’t complain to the Board is because I can’t complain on a company; it has to be an individual. I do not recommend this company to anyone who actually wants to get therapy for their child. They wasted a year and a half that she could have been on another waitlist.

Don't waste your time here. Months and months on intake just to be told they dont accept your insurance even though you have medicaid. These folks dont care about helping kids, they just want the money.

I took my kid to an intake last week and the staff were all ever nice and friendly. They seemed to empathize with my son’s situation and seemed eager to help. Their Regional Director helped me complete my forms and suggested sections I which she wanted me to “embellish” so the “insurance would cover more”. One of these sections was maladaptive behaviors. So, with her suggestion, I painted an inaccurate picture of the most extreme maladaptive episodes my son could, but has not in many many months exhibited. I received an email thanking me for intake but they were unable to accept him because of what that specific section of their intake had said. I am so frustrated! I would not recommend this facility to others. I feel the Director deliberately sabotaged his intake by her suggestions and guidance in completing his intake. To add insult to injury, the email also offered to charge me to teach me and my husband how to do the therapy ourselves!
