Smita and Nicole were absolutely amazing to work with. We met them when our daughter was 6 weeks old with an NG tube. Working with feed therapy and PT, our daughter is now a thriving 11 month old who enjoys food and meeting milestones. It was an absolute joy to work with Smita and Nicole. The office staff are very kind and welcoming to helping any scheduling needs. I don’t know where we’d be without their assistance and support.
Had a lovely experience with Assential Therapies. Smita, is so knowledgeable, caring, and warm hearted. She has a way with babies that is calming (even for the parents). In our toughest time, she helped make a plan weekly and gave us constant reassurance when things felt impossible. Thank you Smita and the whole team at Assential Therapies.
Mary has been a part of our family’s journey for years. First working with our son when he was just 3 years old, and now supporting our daughter. There are few people I trust more with my children’s growth and communication than Mary. She has a gift, not just as a speech language pathologist, but as a person who sees children for who they truly are. With our son, she helped unlock language and confidence at a time when we didn’t know what was possible. Her support was steady, skillful, and deeply compassionate during some of the most critical years of his development. Now, watching her work with our daughter, I’m reminded again of her patience, her joy, and her ability to meet kids exactly where they are. She brings both professionalism and heart into every session. Mary isn’t just a therapist, she’s a partner in our children’s success and a trusted part of our extended village. We’re so grateful for her dedication, her wisdom, and the lasting impact she’s had on our family. ❤️
I highly recommend Assential Therapies and I can't say enough great things about this clinic and Smita Joshi. We started with Assential when my son presented with feeding issues. Smita is passionate and truly gifted at what she does. What I love about Smita and her entire clinic is that they go above and beyond to communicate with your child's entire care team to ensure the best treatment plan possible. We were guided every step of the way to get to the bottom of my child's feeding issues and I'm thrilled to say we went from the darkest of days of being so close to needing a feeding tube, to to him now eating a burger with a fried egg and bacon on top! I never thought I'd see the day and I'm so grateful for the guidance and help and I hope this review provides hope. Smita is the best of the best and her clinic is a direct reflection of that.
We highly recommend Nicole Martens. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Our son has grown so much with her care.
My son was diagnosed with laryngomalacia at 8 weeks. As a mother with a breathing issue that contributed to feeding issues, assential therapies saved my sanity! My child has benefitted greatly from feeding therapy and physical therapy sessions with Ms.Smita and Ms.Anna. They are both skilled therapists who made my child feel comfortable and engaged throughout the sessions. Ms Smita’s expertise in feeding therapy helped my child overcome their feeding difficulties, while Ms. Anna's physical therapy techniques have improved my child’s strength and coordination. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking feeding therapy or physical therapy for their child. ❤️
