My son has been going to this location of APT for quite some time. Ms. Carmen (SLP) and Ms. Tammy (OT) have been so wonderful and patient with my son. He is non-verbal and communicates primarily through his communication device, a little bit of sign language, and attempts at occasional words. Ms. Carmen encourages and teaches him to communicate in the way he feels most comfortable. When he becomes upset or feels unheard, he tends to throw a fit, and Ms. Carmen is focusing on helping him find appropriate ways to express his feelings, wants, and needs. Ms. Tammy is working on his attention (staying on one non-preferred task for a set amount of time) and building coordination skills such as zippers, lacing, puzzles, and more. He may still have a long way to go, but I feel supported with these therapists and appreciate their dedication. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with Ms. Caitlin (OT). She unexpectedly dropped my son from her caseload and did not communicate with me as the parent leading up to it about any concerns or challenges she may have experienced beforehand. I was called the day of his appointment and told he would not be continuing with her. As the parent of a special needs child, open and transparent communication is extremely important and I am disappointed that this did not happen. It has left me with an unsettling feeling about his future at this location, as I now worry that services could be interrupted at any time for any reason.

Haven’t been there in awhile. Didn’t feel as if child was getting help he needed. I was there for feeding therapy, but got more of other therapy. Didn’t like that fact parents wasn’t allowed in room.

We have been going here for over a year and our therapist has became my sin favorite person. She listens to him and just when I thought it wasn’t working he started picking up everything she taught him and that just warms my heart. We appreciate her so much. Idk if I can put her name just for hippa reasons but she awesome “speech” if she reads this she know who I’m talking bout. Now yes I gave 5 stars but I have waited awhile for ABA therapy for quite sometime. We finally got appt and I’m soo happy to see the next steps. So far so good. We appreciate the staff and always them friendly smiles.

Big therapist turnover. My son had 4 different therapist which made his progress very slow because he had to get used to a new person. Receptionist was unkind to everyone. His last therapist was hard to work with and did not understand that he had a low immune system and got sick a lot. I do not recommend them. We went to another therapy practice and we have no issues. Same therapist now for 2 years and they are very understanding and helpful with his condition.

I can’t express how much love and gratitude I have for the staff! They always go above and beyond for my child. We have great open communication, they are so wonderful about incorporating all aspects of my child’s life into his time with them to help him grow as much as possible. They are wonderful about helping with specific concerns to my child. My child has developed a strong bond with the amazing people who work with him. They show my child so much love, grace, guidance and understanding. My child’s progress continues to grow more and more. The staff is so dedicated to not just my child but us as a family making sure we can all work together for my child’s progress. Kirby and Bri have become such a wonderful part of my child’s life. I just can’t thank them enough!

Our son has been attending APT for quite some time and have had tremendous results with his social and communication skills, he's now 5 years old, The staff has been more like family, the kids are very comfortable with their therapists and many times the kids dont want to leave.
