The program was very good for Isaiah. He learned social skills and speaking skills. He learned how to dress himself and put on his shoes and socks without help He likes that he can do things by himself. Thank you for getting him ready for preschool.

My sweet, silly, tenacious 4 year-old son is a limit-pushing, inquisitive, brilliant boy. He also is moving through life learning how to express himself and understand the world around him with nonverbal autism. Atlas Autism and his amazing team, starting with his BCBA Brittany, to his team of Behavior therapists, to the office manager Monica, and everyone who works there. They have worked tirelessly with my son to help him safely (key word here) learn, explore, and understand the world around him. The strides he has made not just in his ability to communicate, but in understanding what the people around him are saying can’t be expressed fully here. His listening, sharing, patience, etc skills have grown exponentially with the support and guidance of his team. My kiddo keeps everyone on his toes and is loved beyond measure not just by us but also by this amazing team of people. I’m so grateful to take my son here everyday knowing that he’s in the perfect environment that supports his needs to best help him in this world.

Our lovely son was diagnosed with Autism in January 2022. At that time his doctor made referrals to 5 places for therapy. I tried to call myself to every therapy place in Columbia, they either did not return my calls or the answer was ”he is on the waitlist '' . We were so stressed especially with his behavior and no communication. It was so challenging for us and especially for our son! But June 2023 was a very different month for us and for him. His case manager found out about a new clinic named Atlas Autism Health and she told me they would contact me soon. It was true- they called me right away. The first time it was Sagar that called me and they said they wanted to assess him to see what level he was. For the first appointment Laura and Vicky came to my house and they checked my son . And then for the last assessment they told me to come to the clinic and to look around. I went with my son and parent educator. Rebecca was so helpful and we looked at everything. It was new and had amazing classes and we talked about how it would help his interaction. They told us they also have a ratio of 1 person for 1 child. That’s so amazing for my son . His communication was severely impaired, it was at 0%. It’s true ,he never even said Mama or daddy at that time and also he was not listening to us when we would tell him about safety and how he had to be in public areas. But, for him it was hard for him to adjust and we were worried about his future- growing up and starting Kindergarten. We could not imagine improvement. After weeks in June 2023, I got a call from Atlas Autism Health again and his name was Abishek and he told me the very big news. He said we could start full time ABA Therapy! It was the best day and month of our life, especially for my son! He was so excited every day, everyday week, of every month ! We saw miracles in our life. He started to call us Mommy , Daddy and Sister in a few days of his school time . And the best thing is he loves his therapist and the RBTs and especially Abishek and Sagar ! I really want to thank both of you for how you take care of my son. You are very respectful and caring for him. He loves attending Atlas everyday and his social interaction and communication skills have improved greatly. And the best thing also is I have meetings bi-weekly and they teach me what we can do at home! That's also amazing for us as we start to learn more about Autism and how to teach communication and social skills . In my faith I used to learn about how Jesus Christ did the first miracle and it transformed approximately 120 gallons of water into wine! And on the other hand I see miracles in my son's life. In a few months, Matthew started to speak 4 or 5 sentences. He has made a lot of friends and he started to listen to what is good or bad. Another good thing is that he now makes eye contact with us and other people when he talks . He knows many words and many positive behaviors to prepare for his kindergarten . So, for us, we really really appreciate Atlas Autism Health. Thank you so much for doing a great job for our son's life! ABA works ! Thanks to all your intervention, our boy went from almost completely non verbal to speaking more and more with every passing day . His daily improvement is now just amazing to watch ! Thanks for giving us our life and recovering something we never thought possible .

My son was diagnosed with Autism in April 2023. The clinic that diagnosed him recommended he do ABA therapy. Feeling so overwhelmed by everything they suggested for him, and not knowing where to start, the social worker at the clinic gave me a list of clinics around the area that offered this. ABA therapy is a very sought after treatment for children with autism. There was a long waitlist at every therapy center in Columbia. The social worker then told me about Atlas Autism Health, and said to contact them as they would soon be opening and may not have a waitlist. She said she had worked with the medical director, Laura Barnes, and she was great! I called Atlas, and the second Sagar picked up the phone he was determined to help my son and I through this journey. Preston started therapy in September 2023. He attendees 40 hours a week. My insurance has changed a few times through this time also, which insurance can be a nightmare, but they worked with me through this and helped any way they could. From administration, the billing center, to the front desk, to the therapists, and the techs, they do everything they can to help. Preston is greeted everyday with high fives, knuckle bumps, and warm smiles. He loves attending Atlas and I feel like his social interactions have improved greatly. Every autistic child has regressions, and Atlas communicates these very openly and develops plans accordingly. They also celebrate the goals and improvements, and recognize the achievements of my son. We have meetings both in person or by Zoom bi-weekly about his progress, and what we can do at home to help him. I will never forget at the beginning of the journey just feeling alone and lost. One day I was talking to Sagar about getting therapy set up and the testing Preston would have to go through before he could start therapy there. At the end of the call I thanked him for his help and time, and he responded, “Thank you for everything you are doing for Preston.” As a Mom that hit me hard. I knew right then that this was the place for P, because they truly care about their clients. They treat them like family, and as a parent what more could you want? We are forever grateful for them and highly recommend them.
