Attain ABA Therapy

I've been receiving services from them for years and it's horrible I've gone through countless therapists and they're all wastes I'm a better ABA and the people these higher they have no experience at all they're randoms they say stuff like my brother has autism or I worked with kids before very unprofessional I've been waiting for weeks for a new tech months almost a year have an experienced anything Do not recommend

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE RECENT REVIEWS AND HEED EVERYONE'S WARNINGS! I unfortunately did not and used Attain's services for a little under a year. Within the year my son had 5 DIFFERENT therapists. Our first therapist was good but she just stopped showing up. The second therapist was decent but was in school full time and was constantly showing up late, taking off to study or for tests/exams. The third therapist was BEYOND lazy, never worked on any goals with my son and finally was fired when I caught her on camera in the middle of my son's session laying down SLEEPING. The fourth therapist was HIGHLY unaqualified as she consistently got frustrated with my son when he would be having meltdowns etc. I was under the impression as I caught her on camera constantly nodding off in middle of talking to my son, she would go to the bathroom for a decent time but would never actually use the bathroom and I caught her on camera having withdrawls. The fifth and final therapist was superprisingly great, INITIALLY. He actually started teaching my son sign language, was on time and was actually working the goals with my son. But over the span of a few months, he began to began to make it a habit of calling out, showing up late, not working my son's goals and playing on his phone majority of the sessions and I noticed a COMPLETE change in my son's behaviors for the worst. My son is nonverbal and would literally cry majority of the sessions and if I came into the session he would not let me go. I reviewed camera footage to see what was really going on and to my surprise my son was being PHYSICALLY ABUSED by this grown man. I immediately called his Supervisor: Holly Inhar (who to this day has NOT called me back to apologize or even check on my son at the least). The only person that answered was the Coordinator: Ashley Lanzone who was helpful but still insisted that she was surprised as the therapist came "highly qualified" and that she hadn't had any other complaints from his other clients. She then inisited they would find another "qualified" therapist like they had done the previous 5 times. For OBVIOUS reasons I'm no longer with this company, I've pressed charges against the individual and called the state licensing on this company. As they CLEARLY lack the ability to hire qualified individuals and only care about the money. PLEASE DON'T SUBJECT YOUR CHILD TO THEIR ABUSE!

DO NOT RECIEVE SERVICES FROM THIS COMPANY! They’re ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, they hire anybody who can pass a background check that does not deserve to work with children in this profession. They’re abusive towards the kids, and simply do not like their line of work. The therapist do not help the children expand in success , instead they’re on their phones. Multiple therapist have been sent and everytime they’ve sent someone encounters get worse! Do not bring your children to this center if you care

This is a horrible company, horrible leadership and horrible BCBAs. The only bright spot are some of the RBTs, the ones who managed to show up on time. We ended up having several BCBAs and several RBTs over a short period of time. It was exhausting. The RBTs have no support and the company is none responsive and barely communicated with you when someone was out. We would go weeks without coverage due to this. The company will double and sometime triple bill you, I had to dispute charges with my insurance company multiple times or I would have been overcharged for subpar service. The management does not care at all. If someone is out you get no communication and no coverage. I believe because this is such a niche field and parents are aiming to help their children by any means so this company takes advantage of that and provides horrible service because they know there are not a lot of options. I would not recommend this company to an animal let along parents that are trying to do what's best to help their loved ones and get the necessary treatment and help they need. Please if you are considering working with this company do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I agree with the previous reviewer, a lot of people in this company are liars and please beware of how comfortable you get with them. They will smile in your face and act like they have your best interest at heart and make up lies without your knowledge and sometimes in your home. This is by far the worst, most unprofessional company I have ever had the disdain of doing business with. I hope my review helps a family because I know if I would have read a review like this prior to embarking on this horrible journey with them it would have saved my family a lot of headache and turmoil. My loved one is getting the help they need and that is all because I made the decision to terminate services with this horrible horrible company. My advice to Attain is, "Remember why you got into the line of work in the first place, to help families and if that was not your motive and it was money driven please do yourself and everyone else a favor and get out of this line of business." My advice to other families, please think twice about putting your family through what could potentially be one of the worst experiences of your lives. This company has a 1 star review for a reason and please believe it. There are plenty capable ABA Therapy providers that are in it for the right reasons so please go with one of those instead of this one. Trust me, you will not regret your decision. I hope this review helps a family like I know it could have helped mine.

Attain ABA Therapy – Dealing with this ABA Service was the worst experience ever. We had a total of 3 therapist and I can share the experience with each one. The first therapist was a liar. She was late every day to each session. She fabricated in her notes daily. First, she told us that the BCBA did not require her to take notes and that there was not system for parents to check the notes. We had actually reach out to Ashley to gain access to central reach. Once we got access to central reach we seen that the therapist was Forging out signature in the system, and lying about the time she started the sessions. We let the BCBA know this and nothing happened. We had to actually reach back out to Ashley and they assigned us another RBT. This RBT was not any better, she was constantly on her phone the entire session. She lied about her taking notes. She also stops each session an hour early everyday saying that she needed the time to take notes, only to see in central reach she only wrote a copy and paste paragraph. She canceled sessions lying saying that we told her to cancel them and had a very nasty attitude when we said something about this. Once we called her out about the lies she was not helpful at all. She would not attend to my son when he exited the room she stayed seated and yelled out “Hey he keeps leaving the room” and would not do anything when he eloped. We then let go of that RBT to get another therapist who only came for 4 days and quit saying that she no longer wants to work with the company. After the third RBT quit we was assigned a new BCBA who only contacted us once. We went two entire weeks without hearing from client services or the BCBA. When we called and emailed them to let them know that we have not heard anything back about a new RBT started we was ignored, but when we sent an email saying that we wanted to cancel service everyone contacted us asking the reason why. This company is a complete scam, they do not show any interest in helping kids or parents. This company only cares about manipulating customers to keep sessions going to get money out of their insurance. When we brought up that the RBT was signing our sons name in the system they did not give a damn. They called each day for us to fix the signature in the system so that we would not tell our insurance. They kept telling us that they would contact our insurance and let them know that this had happened. Once we contacted our insurance we found out they never called them. I am saying this, trust me do not use this service at all it is very frustrating. They will scam you and run you into a circle PLEASE FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. THIS COMPANY IS A ZERO STAR
