Wonderful, caring staff. Come attend an event and meet other parents and people!
The Autism Caring Center has been an absolute lifeline for our family. When my son Isaac was diagnosed with autism on top of complex medical needs, I often felt overwhelmed and alone. Too many times, schools and systems tried to do what was most convenient instead of what was best for him. That’s where the Autism Caring Center and especially Kelly stepped in. She gave me the strength, knowledge, and confidence to advocate for Isaac and to stand firm when he needed someone in his corner. Beyond advocacy, they create true community. The Autism Moms Conference, hosted by the Autism Caring Center, was the first place I felt fully seen and understood as a mom of a child with complex needs. That conference connected me with other moms who “got it” women who became part of my village and my support system. The experience filled me with hope, laughter, and courage at a time I desperately needed it. The Autism Caring Center doesn’t just raise awareness they show up for families in the trenches. They offer resources, encouragement, and safe spaces for families, caregivers, teachers, and allies who are navigating the challenges of autism every day. I am forever grateful for the Autism Caring Center and the incredible impact they continue to have on families like mine.
We are so grateful for the Center. My daughter absolutely loves it. Kelly and the friends we’ve made there are more like family. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s really important for spectrum kids to meet and befriend other like minded kids. My daughter truly feels like she found a home here and I’m so thankful. She discovered something that was missing in her life for too long, true friendship.
The Autism Caring Center is a great resource for both parents and children. The Spectrum Club for ages 13+ has amazing events.
Autism Caring Center, their events and their staff are life changers and savers! First, at the center itself, the offer a Matt's Maker Space with a wide variety of both structured workshops and free play experiences. My kids have enjoyed building marble courses, roller coasters, making creations with legos and even gifts for Fathers Day! They also have an active group for teens and older kids that meet and plan their own amazing events at the Center. Aside from that, the center provides advocacy, resources and solidarity for parents needing assistance navigating the challenges of Autism. They routinely host speakers and conferences that share valuable resources and information, offer workplace trainings for Autism awareness and also host social events for both parents and families. This is such a needed resource and I am so grateful they exist.
