Social groups for autistic people ages 3 to 29. We started bringing my son here after he turned 3 and these people have been nothing but amazing. These aren't therapy groups. They provide a collection of different types of groups to help the autism community meet others their ages and too provide a place where they can be themselves without judgement from others. My son has been attending playing on the spectrum as well as their Lego group and their running group for several years now and was so excited this past week when we could go to play group for the first time since covid started. They also do dances, game nights and meet and greets for teens and adults in their 20's as well as a few all ages events like beach days in the summer and holiday parties in the fall. They participate in other special needs groups events too such as having a table at the miracle league trick or treat event and some other of the same that happen at the public schools near here. If you have a child on the spectrum or are in these age brackets and are on the spectrum, you should definitely check them out.

Autism families help children who are on the autism spectrum disorders throughout their lives helps them to mingle and meet new people who have autism spectrum disorders and plan events to have everyone join. Last weekend I went to a autism spectrum disorder conference in Rocky Hill it was all day from 9am-2pm to learn how to mingle with peers who have autism spectrum disorders. I presented a PowerPoint presentation slideshow for my class about my autism spectrum disorder and how autism are more common in boys and less common in girls.
