This company has terrible communication and is clearly highly disorganized. My first developmental assessment was supposed to be on April 15th, but ALP's rep cancelled due to weather. I rescheduled for the following Wednesday and she couldn't do that date either. I was then contacted by a different rep to do the assessment on April 24th. That session was also cancelled and moved to May 1st and May 2nd. We had the May 1st and 2nd session and they were the ONLY SESSIONS we had with Autism learning partners. They assigned me a BT, but before she began, they cancelled her and said, "Oops they haven't graduated college yet so we can't assign them to you." Wow, really...? The next BT assigned to me showed up at my door, saw that I had a cat, and immediately cancelled services because she was allergic. I understand this, but she stood on my doorstep with her advisor on the phone and said this was the second home she was assigned to that had pets. So you would think this is an important thing to screen for if you are sending people into others' homes where there might be pets. I told her it was fine, and she left. But Autism Learning partners never followed up. It's not hard to send and email and say, "sorry about the mix-up, we will get back to you when we have a new BT for you." Nothing. Crickets. Then I received a bill for hundreds of dollars for assessment sessions I never had. I was billed for the April session I never had, and billed for two more sessions in May after the first and second sessions, which I never had. I emailed back and asked them to explain the charges and they never responded. They just went ahead today and charged my card anyway for the full amount. So now in addition the the stress of finding new ABA therapy and getting on MORE waiting lists, I get to go dispute charges to my credit card. Not the kind of added stress a parent of an autistic child needs. Zero stars, would not recommend.
