These people only have a HS diploma, they are NOT professionals. They only care about money, and do not care about your kids.

We love the supervisor we work with but our BT decided she wanted to quit because the travel wasnt working for her so she says. I didn't complain or fuss when I found out it is what it is but how long are we gonna be with our a new BT and how's this going to affect our son with a change being dropped on him randomly not cool in my opinion. Don't leave people high and dry. Before a BT leaves they should have another one put in place for their clients.

My son has improved so much since starting with ALP last year. The communication is very open and they have worked with us every step of the way! I never thought I would see such improvement in my son but it’s all thanks to their assistance❤️

Our experience was more like 0 stars. We were assigned to a BT who did not speak a word to my child during the initial few visits. Only the supervisor spoke. The supervisor passed the torch to the BT and no longer came to our appts. BT continued to not speak to our child during appts. She was not even observing our child, she was only observing her cell phone. We asked for a new BT and were denied. Supervisor claimed to “give BT ideas” to improve her ability to engage with our son. She then suddenly had family problems and had to take a leave of absence which turned into her quitting her job. We were out a BT for a few weeks, if not longer, before a new BT was assigned and she no-showed our first appt. We left after that. Now we are constantly sent bills a year later that magically pop up for services we definitely didn’t receive. Be aware that they will claim to have “billable office paperwork” months after you stop working with them. They will bill your insurance for the dumbest things possible to get your money.

TL;DR... if your BT is good, it's good. If your BT sucks change them and don't feel bad. Supervisor experience so far is bad and billing is not communicating. It is the only provider in network so we are stuck with them. We want what is best for our child so we're sticking it out and giving it a strong attempt. The supervisor does not actually supervise the BT, the communication between the BT and the supervisor is fine but the supervisor never relays what the BT has said to me. Our first BT never implemented any of the program so we switched BT. When I requested the BT the change was easy but I was informed that I am too involved... however I was never given any feedback on how much or little to be involved prior. The old BT also cancelled or left early a lot, and would mark cancellations against us even though we only canceled one time without notice. So now we get emails from attendance stating ours is poor and to make up sessions, but we don't have the time to do that and all the attendance issues were on the old BT. Our new BT is much much much better but we still have a supervisor whose not properly communicating or supervising. Example telling the supervisor of a cancellation a week in advance in the middle of BT change and then getting an attendance email saying we same day cancelled it again... supervisor Claiming they had done 4 in home visits to the new BT when in reality only zoomed in for a few hours twice in an entire month. Still really put off by the lack of communication and family feedback on a supervisor level however a large part of ABA is whose actually involved with your child, the BT so if you get a good one you'll be in good shape! Have yet to see a bill in almost two months so that is concerning and there is not like a parent portal application to see progress, charts or billing. There is lots of improvements that can be made and I hope to see them moving forward and hopefully this makes it to someone who matters because the only contact I have is my bad supervisor, who is now apparently on leave but never even bothered to inform us or give us a new supervisors information.
