Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
I can't say enough good things about the Autism Training Center. They have truly been a lifesaver for our family. The center offers so much: personalized plans for each child, expert guidance for parents, and a wealth of resources to help navigate the world of autism. Yes, it can take a little bit of time to be assigned a worker, but that’s simply because there’s such a high demand for their services. And honestly, that’s a good thing—these professionals are so incredibly skilled, and we need more of them! Once I was assigned my worker, it was clear right away how knowledgeable and dedicated she is. She’s been an invaluable resource in helping me and my husband understand and manage our two boys’ unique needs. We went through a comprehensive history for both boys, and together, we tailored plans that are specific to each of them. One of the most impactful things for me has been how she educated me and my husband about autism. When we first received the diagnosis, we were completely lost. We didn’t know what to expect or what it all meant. If you're feeling like we did—either shocked or just unsure—this center will help you navigate those emotions. They provide education and training that empowers you to be the best parent for your child with autism. The knowledge I've gained has completely changed the way I view challenges like meltdowns and behavioral issues. We’ve worked through troubleshooting strategies for difficult behaviors and even school-related issues. What's amazing is that they can even go into schools (if the school is open to it) and work directly with teachers. It's truly an amazing service. The team at the Autism Training Center doesn't just help your child—they support the entire family. Their approach is built on the understanding that “if you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism,” and they work to ensure that every family gets the personalized care they need. I joke that my worker is my personal therapist because she’s so understanding and always there to listen. It's a relief to have that kind of support and not feel alone in this journey. Becoming a parent to an autistic child can feel overwhelming and even scary sometimes, I honestly couldn’t have made it through this first year without them. Yes, it might take a little time to get on the list, but trust me, it’s worth the wait. They have so many resources and are always willing to guide you to other services if needed. The world of autism doesn’t have to be scary, and you don’t have to face it alone. I can’t recommend them enough!
