I’ve spent a short time here after attending Avatar Residential Detox Center and have absolutely nothing but all good things to say about both programs. Avatar detoxed me perfectly where my withdrawal symptoms after detox were very minimal. I then came here to Avatar Behavioral Health for a short while because I had to go to work and the staff here are very encouraging in you and your Recovery Process. They respect boundaries and any PTSD and trauma you have faced in the past and try to teach you skills to combat it when it arises again because it usually does. This program is very thorough and tight-shipped and I would recommend it to anyone that has any severe mental health issues, PTSD or trauma issues that have been holding them back in life or has been the reason for your relapsing. You don’t have to do it alone and you have a choice of getting clean with a fresh start here! Last but surely not the least… if It ain’t an Avatar Treatment Facility, it just ain’t right for you!!! Avatar is the only place I would highly recommend to anyone especially compared to every other garbage facility around here. And this is coming from somebody that drove all the way from Wyoming just to come here and has been through his fair share of treatment facilities. Believe me when I tell you, Avatar is the best of the bunch!

I have a friend that went through the Avatar detox and residential program before attending the behavioral health treatment facility, and they raved about Avatar from the moment they walked in until they extended their time at Behavioral Health Center. He wanted more time with the staff there that were making a difference in his life! To me that speaks volumes as to the care and treatment he was receiving. He said it's a smaller group than what you see in typical rehabs and they focus more on trauma and indepth reasons as to why addicts and alcoholocs behave and how their mental health plays a part in their addiction. Now they're learning how to deal with their mental health while being active and taking action in their own recovery process. Thank you Avatar! You guys really helped make a change in someone's life!

Was there for a short stay very caring and appreciative of the help

My family member is currently there after transferring from Avatar Residential Detox Center. They have nothing but great things to say about the wonderful and friendly staff. Avatar is really trying to help all kinds of struggling addicts, & alcoholics. Now they’re trying to help people that need more mental health help. We appreciate everything they do because this isn’t our first family member to receive help from Avatar. It’s nice to see them expand to help people with serious mental health needs!

My family and I convinced our cousin that lives with us, that we had absolute enough of his using and he needed to go to rehab if he was going to have a place at our house again. He eventually agreed and went through the entire program. He started with detox and residential, and reluctantly agreed to go to IOP. He stayed there for a short while until Avatar opened up a facility specified more for mental health, and he transferred over there. We are thrilled with his progress and continued work on, not only himself, but working through issues with his family and girlfriend. We are very grateful for everyone at Avatar that had a hand at helping my cousin be where he’s at today. We took a tour of the new behavioral health facility, and were limited in the pictures ee could share with people because of HIPPA and didn’t want staff in the pictured for their privacy reasons. These pictures show common rooms along with some of the group rooms that are going to be used. But the facility is Beautiful and brand new and I just wish I could show you more of what we were able to see on our tour. Again, thank you, Avatar for everything! Your staff is truly one of a linda!

I have a family member that went through the whole Avatar program starting with detox, then going to residential, and even trying IOP. Even though everyone was nice and caring and really tried to help, he thought his mental health needs would be better filled here. So far he’s doing everything that’s asked of him and has had ups & downs because of what he put himself through, but at least with Avatar’s help, he’s being guided in the right direction in life!
