Avenues ABA Therapy

I wanted to share my personal experience with ABA Avenues, which unfortunately has been extremely disappointing. Throughout our time with them, I felt that the staff were not genuinely willing to work with my child. One staff member showed up only for a few days before disappearing altogether, while another made inappropriate comments about me to the babysitter. Additionally, I overheard another staff member discussing their boyfriend during sessions, which felt unprofessional and distracting. The last Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) assigned to us was very opinionated and even told me that they don't deal with multiple diagnoses, which was disheartening. Because of these experiences, I've lost my faith in the ABA method as a whole, particularly due to the way this company operates. It seems their focus is more on receiving payments from insurance companies than genuinely supporting families and children. I hope sharing this feedback will help highlight areas for improvement and encourage better practices in the future.

I will definitely recommend bright strides to anyone looking for ABA therapy they have the best therapists they pay attention to your child concerns and details. Ms Sarah and Ms Bola have been doing a very diligent job for my daughter.

The amount of work the staff at avenues ABA is above and beyond from the beginning after trying everyone else. My child’s improvement has been huge. I can’t thank you enough!!

Stay away from this place. Their workers are not vetted. They hurt my child and never followed up with an apology or explanation. They don't provide sufficient hours for a child to actually learn anything long term. And Management have the gift of gab but no action. Worst experience ever!! Find services elsewhere

I have been having a lot of issues with this company in the past 9 months and it's ongoing. Communication of schedules from the office falls off a week after the RBT gets started and then the finger is pointed from the RBT that the office was supposed to let me know. We have a group chat for my daughter's RBT and supervisor and then all my parties are no notified that the RBT is not coming. The crazy part is the chat is to notify us of delays, early departures, or no shows and yesterday no messages, but you tell me verbally that you will be cutting class by 1 hour for future visits. This is the 4 RBT. There was only 1 RBT in the last 6 months who was here for 2 weeks as a backup who was consistent, no schedule changes, on time, and paired well with my child where my child was making progress. When I requested for Maseray to stay even though she was a backup, I was told no. Every other RBT has had some kind of problem outside of my daughter's care and we're the client. At this point, every other RBT has caused regression and it makes me feel this company is a money grab and it's time for me to look for at therapy programs outside of this company so that my daughter's growth is progressing instead of the setbacks that we have had with other RBTs due to their accountability.

Wonderful team at avenues ABA! Their dedication to providing quality care for children with autism is truly impressive. The staff is professional, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to support families. Highly recommend!
