Manager tried to force me into something. Gave 2 options. When I picked the one that benefited me she said, "we are not a good fit for you" I expect most of unlicensed staff developed in "treatment"
I am considered a new patient with this location but I'm not a new patient to the person I see. I have been seeing Molly Sharp for many years at a different facility and was informed that she was leaving and was going to a new place which was almost a year ago. I'm so thankful that AtW took my insurance so therefore I know that I made the right decision to follow her. I speak highly of Molly and nothing less since we've connected. She loves what she does and she loves the people/clients and willing to help them become a better person. She doesn't judge you for what you've done in your past nor who you are. She has proved to be caring & trustworthy because "you matter" not the money.
I've been seeing Dr desai for many years. For the past few years I'm seeing Sarah. She makes me feel cared about and goes out of her way to make sure I'm taken care of no matter what is bothering me at the time. I love them both Wanda Dooley
Sara Roads is a wonderful doctor. I have been seeing her for awhile.
I started going to ATW in march of 2023, since then the psychiatrists they have assigned to me have all left the practice. This has happened twice- They seem to have high turnover. The first two psychs were professional and competent. The last psychiatrist didn’t take the time to read my chart before the first appointment, questioned an established diagnosis (asking if i even had documentation for it- I only started at ATW because I was referred after being diagnosed) and then wasn’t able to keep up with refilling medication. She was very unprofessional and rude. I understand these people aren’t therapists, but the last two psychs at ATW had lovely bedside manners so it’s something I had come to expect. I am really saddened to have moved on from this facility, it was one of the first things I did in Roanoke after moving here and it was a consistent part of my relationship with the city. The front desk staff is amazing and kind though I hope this doesn’t reflect negatively on them.
My doctor left and ATW made me wait 4 months to see a new doctor. Not a problem except they wouldn't refill my anxiety meds after month one and after month 3 my mental health meds wouldn't be refilled. I suggest finding a different Dr's office to prevent lost medication.
I don't have any drug or alcohol problems thank the good Lord but I just want to give a big shout for Sarah who actually takes the time to listen to me and my concerns about medicines and stuff. She is the only one that I absolutely trust with my issues. Thank you to the great staff there too, they're the greatest!!!
Even though I have no addiction issues: (Father God's Love, Jesus' saving grace, Breathing, eating, sleeping, music, my cat, coffee and cigars), Sarah is very caring and very concise with process and progress of all needs and always listens to medication needs and fills them with my particular needs in mind, keeping me from having to go to the pharmacy too many times. Great practitioners!! Highly recommend!!
