Terrible Staff. They cannot service 13 yr olds during the day time because kids 2-6 are there? Make that make sense

As someone who has been involved with attendant care since 2018 - before we had clients. I am highly disappointed in what ACC has become. This company went from caring about its clients and staffs well being to this money hungry careless “Business”. There's so much to say but I've condensed it to this: *Punishments outweigh rewards and EVERYTHING is based on attendance and absences (attendance policy attached to pics) vs hard work and dedication. The reward system allows you to earn points to get rid of your attendance points however that does not take away the absenteeism point(s) that tracks the amount of times you’ve called off (regardless of doctors notes). 14 absences in a year with or w/o a valid excuse with zero attendance points = termination. You are given 3 personal days however, you can only use one personal day a month, it can only be used in place of a call off so its an attendance point and an absenteeism point *Some schedulers are “professionally rude” if you cant cover shifts outside of your availability or change your availability. *NO breaks in between clients to clean rooms, take a break, write notes, etc rarely have 30 minutes between any clients. *Favoritism. They pick and choose who will move up in the company. There was also a tech whose mom worked in the back office… one requirement to work here is to have a license and a vehicle- this particular technician did not, which meant she was exempt from doing in homes which you had to be open to doing in homes - but i guess not that tech. *Lack of employee appreciation and recognition - we simply get "employee shout outs" and chances to spin the wheel to have attendance points removed but remember, you still have your absenteeism points :) - and bribes to write indeed reviews (see pics) *Your yearly raise is based on your performance and not your work with clients and the work you actually do, but your attendance and absenteeism On a more personal note, I have worked well over 50+ hours in a week and have made overtime more times than i can count, i have helped cover client shifts, keep the center clean and sanitized as reguary as possible, worked with and covered aggressive clients, trained staff who have also raved about my training, collaborated with techs and clinician plenty of ideas that have been implemented and have overly played my role as a tech and i have gotten the absolute horrible end of the stick everytime. I have never once received employee of the month after returning to the company for another 14 months and going above and beyond, i never got my yearly raise because my “performance” was poor but every employee review i received was alway on the high end of the grading scale (it was only because of my absenteeism even though i had zero attendance points at the time), they took me off of being a trainer, and immediately increased the pay for trainers and then had the nerve to put newer staff who haven't been with the company for 90days yet as new trainers!. After putting in my 3 WEEKS NOTICE, i attempted to use my remaining 12 hours of PTO and was denied bc once you put in your resignation you FORFEIT your EARNED PTO. the PTO that you worked for. There have been several techs quit in a short period of time and there will be more quitting very soon if they dont listen to their employees. KIM PERRIN the director is someone we (original staff) looked up to a lot and never wanted to disappoint her now we see her and feel disappointment in her. Her presence is uncomfortable to everyone - she only comes around when things are bad. The Lead BCBA at Roseville needs to work on micromanaging the techs, staying in his office, and advocating better for his staff for retention. I expect a petty response from whoever responds to Google reviews as you've seen with previous reviewer under here other center reviews. But Thats just what I have to say in condensed form. They also find ways to hide reviews on google. They’re a scam. Don’t work here.

My son has been at Attendant Care for almost a year now and the changes we’ve seen in him have been nothing short of AMAZING!! Since starting he has learned so much. He has started talking, potty trained, eloping is down drastically, and he LOVES going!! I am so thankful to have found such an awesome place that does so wel with my boy.

My child goes to the Detroit center. I would give 5 stars for everyday thatmy kid has been there. ReConna Marshall is WONDERFULLY she is professional caring , understanding and intuitive. She has relationship with each child and is hands on. The staff is Great. I want to give a special thanks to Cayla and Maya for helping bring out joy excitement and a eagerness to learnfor my kid . I have a different child than when he started.

IMO Do not send your kids here. Very unprofessional staff, inconsistency of staff for your kids, profiles parents and think that it's ok to tell you how to prioritize your life time and family. Rebecca is the worst. The woman can't even shut up long enough for you to talk, not to mention she speaks very loud and talks at you not to you so all in all I wouldn't take my dog for them to watch if I could give them no stars I would.
