they never answer their phones. i have spent over an hour today calling them. once your past the menu the avarage time before your hung up on is 3 minutes. immagine just how many times you have to call and still no one answers? it just makes an already stressfull activity worse. get more people to answer calls or turn off the auto hangup.

The Doctor completely skipped our appointment. They only offer phone call/ video call appointments for feedback after the initial evaluation. Received no call, email, or anything to cancel or reschedule. Doctor was just no show and we were left in the dark. The first appointment in person for the evaluation was supposed to be 2 hours long, we were only seen for 40 mins. I’ve been calling this whole week and leaving voicemails every day. They never answer the phone. Hopefully we can just get the feedback we need to determine if there is a diagnosis for our son or not.

When I first came here, I was already told by PCH (Phoenix Children's Hospital) that my son was not autistic. Then came the rejection of treatment for him at the age of 10. When I found out about Axis for Autism, I hurried to schedule with a provider who was able to give me a full list of what my son needed, and with her diagnosis, I was able to branch out and start researching different services like speech and ABA therapy. I have never tried Axis for Autism's services besides their diagnosis, but without her, I would never have gotten the services my son needed for his autism. I have since enrolled in some of their parent group classes and hope this place finds more people who care about this program and help it expand. I met with a specialist who is trying to connect other mothers and families who need answers and help with unanswered questions. I hope they continue to support the autism community.

I’m so happy I found Axis for Autism! Coming from Maryland (East Coast), the local waiting lists were over three years long, and I needed answers for my son as soon as possible. Axis for Autism was incredibly affordable and efficient. They considered input from all of my child’s caregivers and guided me toward the right resources and support. Thanks to their evaluation, I’ve been able to schedule back-to-back appointments like feeding therapy, ABA, and more. I’m truly grateful!

I'm incredibly thankful and grateful to the entirety of the Axis for Autism Team, and would absolutely recommend them for anyone who has had doubts or suspected that they might be Autistic, or even for a family member. A bit of context and backstory, I had struggled a lot between 2021-2024 due to the fact that I had become aware that both assessments I had done in the past, did not have the diagnosis both Psychologists claimed to have provided to me and had explained to my mother as well. It was really hard to explain to others how much imposter syndrome affected me as an autistic individual who has had social-emotional difficulties throughout my entire life, and as I grew older it became more apparent to my mom that I needed help and that something was off. My first assessment was done back in Mexico 2017 with an Institute of Neurodevelopment & Child Neuropsychology Unit. I honestly don't really blame my mom for not knowing that Social (Pragmatic) Communication Disorder (SCPD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are in fact two entirely different things, though very easy to confuse with one another (despite the fact that the Psychologist explicitly told us I was on the Spectrum). Fast-forward to 2019 here in Arizona, I was severely struggling with my mental health to the point where I had gotten hospitalized twice. This was due to many factors, including the change in environment and with how isolated I felt from my peers in high school, struggling with friendships and relationships alike. My Psychologist back then as well had also confirmed to me that I was indeed Autistic (though she kept using the Asperger's Diagnosis back then). Same situation, what was verbally explained/confirmed to me, was not the same on paper. Frankly, to this day I'm unsure of the reasoning as to why that happened, but it just felt like I was being lied to in a sense. The process with Axis for Autism in my opinion, went pretty smooth, definitely lots of paperwork to fill out but the more information the better! I made sure to include any past assessments or important information that would further help them understanding my situation and the way I function, outside of the tests being provided to me, I also made sure to provide written documents of my own experience. Since my mom has known me since day one and I still somewhat depend on her, she was also able to provide important insight from her perspective when it came to raising me as a child up till being a young adult. I felt heard and understood when I was provided the results that I do in fact meet the diagnostic criteria for ASD, despite me and my entire family already knowing, it just felt like a huge relief to feel validated and being told "I'm surprised you weren't diagnosed sooner". I'm aware that it is partially due to the fact that I had learned how to mask at such a young age, and my parents might've possibly noticed some behaviors and differences that maybe didn't raise concerns to them very early on, but it also is important to take into consideration of the way that Autism presents itself in girls might not necessarily be the same way as it may present in boys, and even still, no autistic individual is the exact same as the next one. At the end of the day, we're all part of the same community, and all autistic experiences are valid, whether they are a child, teen, adult, no matter the gender identity, sexuality, race, if you were diagnosed early on in your childhood or later as an adult, whether you require very substantial support, moderate, or minimal support, we all have our own challenges and strengths, and at times like these, we all need solidarity, and not division within the community. ♾️🌈 Huge thank you again to Axis for Autism!

My son’s physician referred us to axis for autism everyone so far has been really helpful. During my son’s evaluation they did a variety of things with him to see his different characteristics before diagnosing him on the spectrum. When I finally got his diagnosis they were not only helpful and kind towards my son but also made sure how I was feeling through the whole process. They are quick to answer any questions I had and were also kind enough to walk me through which steps I should take next to help my son in everything he needs. I would definitely recommend axis for autism to any parent who is seeking a proper diagnosis for their child.

Per Jeannie, your kiddos will not be 1:1 with the same coach, I’ve been sick for the past couple weeks and only ended up worse, Stephanie sent me a discharge email with Jeannie cc’d. I called and asked Jeannie what the email was for, she stated, “what email?” as if she was clueless and then said, if I wanted my kids with the same couch they cannot accommodate and they’d be discharged. Not once had her or Stephanie called me to have the discussion. I have advised them I’d look elsewhere in the meantime and my kiddos will be out until next week due to me being completely sick. No response, just an email sent for discharge. Only communication is on my end. They lack communication and professionalism. 1:1 is definitely important to reach your love one’s goals and they know I am a very involved parent. Billing is all they care about here at Axis, very disappointing. My kiddos have been here for 2-3 years. Don’t waste your time.
