BACB - Behavior Analyst Certification Board

Just take a look at the other reviews; they speak for themselves. Dealing with the BACB is a frustrating and demoralizing experience. It really does feel as if they are purposefully placing obstacles in the way of good-intentioned people who just want to help others.

Submitted my recertification 50 million times, paid the fee, and because someone is blind or can't read my recertification information was declined multiple times even after submitting endless appeals with documented proof that ALL requirements had been met. Then they had they audacity to deny my appeals even with proof and stated that I can no longer file any appeals under the license number that I had. I was told I had to take the 40 hour training, competency, and RBT assessment AGAIN. Poor customer service, poor lack of urgency, and no one picks up the phone. If I could give a 0 star rating...my livelihood was impacted but this didn't seem to matter to them.

Scam. I have been trying to contact these people. Trump is on it i see. Many jobs being lost. Bcbas in the school districts doing absolutely nothing and having teachers doing fbas, bips, etc. When has BCBAs become teacher trainers. They don't work with the kids or anything. Please dont get a master's in this. Anytime you can't contact the board. Is a red flag.

Quickly denied by RBT renewal due to a BCBA at the company forgetting to check a box. Which is fine and accidents happen and the BCBA was also very apologetic over the mishap. Myself and my company then promptly resubmitted the application for my renewal with the necessary correction. That was June 30 and as of now July 27 my 30 day grace period had expired and my RBT is expired and inactive. On the site it showed as processing and myself and the company reached out about the process and the BACB has just now responded on July 29 that they somehow hadn’t received a resubmission.

BACB website does not work. I have tried to contact this entity via e-mail; doesn't work, the e-mail doesn't go thru.You get no response via their fax machine. Nobody answers the phones. I have tried to upload all my info to be able to take the RBT exam. I was kicked out of the system numerous times. I have different certification boards I deal with on a yearly basis. All of them can be reached by e-mail, fax, and phone. Those business practices are unacceptable.
