Back 2 Basics Pediatric Therapy Services

My son has been going to this practice since the fall & we absolutely LOVE Alison(Ali) I’ve never met a more relatable and down to earth provider! My son gets so excited to go see her & has improved with his speech so quickly! We went from barely saying 20+ words to now full sentences! As well as she works with his picky eating, he now has experimented and is more accepting of trying new foods!! I couldn’t recommend a better provider!!

I went for my 7m old son’s feeding. They were so organized with their space, they asked great questions, and worked with him to help me see the root issue of what might be causing his trouble! They really listened to me and helped my advocate for him so he could be his best healthy self! Highly recommend- so professional and passionate about helping kids!

Even there we were there a short time, my son learned a lot with Nicole, during nutrition counseling. Every staff cares and are very kind ! They offer both virtual and physical appointments which are helpful to parents.

New Update: Because the office chose to respond to my comment below with “throwing a rock and hiding hand approach” by saying “we are sorry etc. Back2Basics please be aware of the law; The No Surprises Act (NSA), which took effect in 2022. **Despite high ratings, the experience was subpar. Unsure how the actual feeding therapist was on an iPad while my kid only ate some snacks just to be charged outside of my insurance. It now makes sense why an estimate range was not even provided. And the promise to have an email *before* my card was charged also did not take place. Hopefully the short-term charge was worth not having a client long term because the service was certainly not an “Evaluation of oral and pharyngeal swallowing function”. The email did not include a number so no need to call or reply with reaching you.

Ms. Kelsey has been wonderful with my son during food therapy. My son has tried more new foods with the OT in just a short time then he has in years. I would highly recommend Back 2 Basics!

Our family loves Back2Basics! We’ve seen Amanda B since December of 2024 and have always felt so rewarded after each appointment. From practical steps for implementing new foods with dietary education alongside Miss Kimberly and Miss Madeline, the support goes far. Nash at the front desk has helped with making appointments easy to schedule and remember. Accommodations go beyond virtual assistance, as she is always a pleasant face to see when entering the office and has even helped get us situated with an in-office iPad for extra ease! We are so grateful our PCP referred us here. :)

My daughter has been seeing Amanda at Back2Basics for a couple of months now and I have seen such a huge improvement in her speech. Amanda was able to quickly build rapport with my daughter and she demonstrates a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to both speech and feeding. She has taught my daughter so much in just a few short months and has also taught me many ways I can help my daughter at home. I highly recommend Back2Basics!!
