I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jessica. From the moment my son Byron started working with her at just one month old, we have seen so much progress…far beyond what we ever expected in such a short time. Not only is she skilled and knowledgeable in her field, but she is also one of the most kind, gentle, and compassionate individuals I have ever met. She celebrates every single milestone, no matter how small, turning each victory into a moment of joy. Her positivity is inspiring, and she uplifts not only my son but our entire family. Beyond the incredible care she provides for Byron, she has become a pillar of support for me personally. Navigating the emotional challenges of having a child who may not meet milestones as expected can be overwhelming and quite devastating to say the least, but she has been there for me every step of the way, listening, encouraging, and offering reassurance when I need it most. Her dedication goes beyond the typical medical industry experience. She truly cares. The level of commitment and empathy she brings to every session is something rare and invaluable. We genuinely cannot imagine our lives without her. I find myself eagerly anticipating each appointment because I know Byron will leave having made more progress, and I will leave feeling uplifted and supported. Jessica is fantastic and so knowledgeable about babies! As an OT she can assess and treat for such a wide range of baby “skills” from feeding to sitting and crawling. We received an abundance of recommendations from her just in one visit and I know if we had seen her earlier on in our colic, torticollis, feeding difficulty filled first few months, we would have had a much smoother time. I am glad Grand Rapids area has such a great resource in Jessica for new parents and babies!!

Jessie has been a priceless addition to our support team with our little guy. As first time parents especially, you are on a learning journey and having a team around you to help navigate concerns, improve quality of life and thrive is amazing. We first worked with Jessie working through a feeding issue around 3m. She helped us understand how the whole body is interconnected and can impact feeding, fussiness/spit-up/colic, sleeping and pooping ...all the most important things at that point! She was knowledgeable, compassionate, and practical helping us get a head start in our appt and train me on what to do to help my little guy and be able to do the exercises at home. The work helped us get out of our little guy being stiff and uncomfortable to thriving after a few appts. Because of how valuable and impactful our experience was, we did another visit around 8m to check in as our little guy was starting to crawl and pull to stand, but was doing so lopsided. Jessie helped us confirm where we had opportunities to work on imbalances, what to watch for at home, and exercises to do for helping the muscle imbalances. I always leave feeling so supported, equipped to support my kiddo and knowing what to watch for that could be a red flag. Cannot recommend working with Jessie enough - she is a strong communicator, connects wonderfully with my kiddo and I, and is so practical and knowledgeable.

Jessica was absolutely amazing! My pediatrician recommended my 3 month old to Jess as she was having trouble looking both ways as her neck seemed stiff. I learned SO much from the first appointment with Jess. I wish I had taken my first to her. At the absolutely least it taught me great tips for tummy time which helped me fill our day together.

Jessica was a wonderful support during such a stressful time in our child’s development. She helped prepare him for a frenectomy as well as help him down regulate his very upregulated system. She is fun, gives notice to the child’s needs during therapy, and approaches care in a very empathetic and loving way. We loved working with her so much and saw so much improvement with our son, I was afraid to leave!
