There are some people that worked at this facility that are amazing, while others were horrible. The people that were amazing I can count on one hand, they made me feel heard, respected, supported and they excelled and exceeded the expectations of bedside manners. However, the people who were horrible were disrespectful, belittling and unprofessional. While I was there I'd been cursed at, put in situations that could have harmed me or other patients and misteated. The people that were horrible made my stay stressful and made me feel anxious and uneasy, feeling judged, belittled and disrespected. They laughed when patients were in crises, they cursed and had bad attitudes talking recklessly to patients that needed compassion, understanding and kindness; these kinds of people shouldn't be in the healthcare profession but since they are they need more training or a refresher course on bedside manners and some kind of refresher just on how to treat people with dignity and respect.
Wonderful people. They helped me when I was at my lowest.
I was taken off psych meds, put in danger with unsupervised violent patients while the staff hid in their office, then put in scrubs into a cab in psych med withdrawal with no help.
Hello friends,Diana westmoreland here. I must say, I miss Sara the most. My Nurses . and Techs were the best. Thank you so much. Diana Westmoreland. Y’all need a raise! 🤪
My experience with this facility was it very clean, it's nice that you have your own rooms, the nurses and staff were also very friendly. However, for most of your stay here there is literally nothing to do except sleep in your room and watch tv in the group area :( And even all of the nurses agree that they don't really do anything to actually "help" most people, other than it being essentially a holding tank to help you detox. BUT, believe I did actually get some benefit during my stay. And, believe it or not, it was from having conversations with the other patients who were there during my stay. So, it COULD potentially help you in some capacity, but if you're looking for a place with an actual structured "program" or trained staff that will work with to help you figure out some solutions to whatever it is you may be struggling with, then I would find some place else.
