I really felt that Rita carefully listened to my story and made me feel more human, and not like a robot or just another peg on her daily schedule. The interaction was genuine and her observations were astute. She truly from the first visit seemed like a partner that was there to help me solve my problems.
The grounds make a beautiful setting for entering and leaving
The staff is always pleasant and Dr. Rafi really knows his medicines and Mariana is a wonderful therapist.
I'm still learning how to cope with everything I've been through. As of September 16, 2025, I was diagnosed with a new DVT in my right leg—my fourth blood clot this year. That brings the total to eight since December 22, 2008, when a clot broke off and traveled to both lungs. I spent that Christmas in Baptist Hospital, discharged on December 30th. The others followed: • November 2013 • April 2014 • November 2017 • January 10, 2025 • March 1, 2025 • April 22, 2025 • And now, September 16, 2025 This year has brought other health challenges too, including the loss of a job that kept me engaged and gave me a sense of purpose. I'm still here, but it's been hard—physically, emotionally, spiritually. Reaching out to Baptist Behavioral Health was a step I’m grateful I took. Their support is helping me hold steady through the storm.
My therapist is wonderful, but I dont like that I am not able to stay on a maintenance basis because Baptist thinks I am better. Very sad!
I had an appointment at 9am and ended up waiting on the virtual meeting for 4 hours, only text/email i got was at 915am saying the provider is running late and will be on shortly. I got rescheduled for the 14 now.
