I’m fortunate to have found Evie to work with my son. We have been working with her for over 2 1/2 years, and I am not sure how we would have made it through this pandemic without her and her dedication and unparalleled style. Evie’s services go beyond speech and language, her methods and strategies have been a true game changer for my sons relationship with peers, adults and himself. She has worked on improving, not only his language skills, but his overall confidence and morale. Evie has been selfless in getting to the root cause of certain behavior patterns and has introduced effective strategies to manage them in a functional and positive way with language being the foundation, but also making sure that he's fully expressive with his thoughts, feelings and emotions. We have been with 3 prior speech therapists in Brookline and Newton before working with Evie and I can't imagine seeing this level of growth with anyone else. She knows how to connect with your child in ways we haven't seen with others and she has a wealth of knowledge and experience that I admire as well as her dedication and integrity to each child and parent she's working with. You are going to thank yourself when you see your child thrive in ways you haven't seen before.

We met Evelyn in the spring of 2016 when J was about to start the school. I remember being very worried about her lack of language and her delayed social skills and meeting Ms. Eve was a gift from heaven. She is an excellent listener and a smart and well-educated speech-language pathologist. She understood immediately the quirks of my kid's personality and designed for her activities to address the speech but also social skills, game skills, emotional cognition...She understands the work in the communication skills with an holistic approach and designs the therapy thinking not only in the kid but also in the family and its needs. The speech sessions with her are always fun and engaging and they are also effective in pull out words from J. The assessment/progress reports were very clear and easy to follow and reflected with good accuracy my kid's performance at the moment they were done. Her commitment with my kid is heartwarming and she has been a great support for our family in hard and good days. Working with her was a delight from the very beginning and for that reason, I strongly recommend Ms. Eve speech sessions to any of our relatives and friends with speech pathologies.

Evelyn was the one to explain my child's learning issues to me and educate me on Dyslexia, recommend a neuropsychologist with expertise in Dyslexia, and tell me about a wonderful school to help support my daughter's learning issues. Evelyn not only has great knowledge and expertise in language based learning issues, she is a supportive and compassionate professional. I will always be grateful for all her time and effort. Because of Evelyn, my daughter now reads and writes well, enjoys going to school, and loves learning.
