do not recommend this ABA therapy based on our experience. While it was presented as a helpful, evidence-based approach for our child, what we encountered felt rigid, impersonal, and overly focused on compliance rather than understanding or supporting our child’s emotional needs. The therapists often prioritized task completion and behavior suppression without addressing why certain behaviors were happening. Instead of helping our child feel heard and supported, the sessions often felt like drills, which led to anxiety and emotional distress. We also found that communication with the team was inconsistent. Goals were set without much collaboration, and when we expressed concerns about our child’s discomfort, we were met with defensiveness rather than a willingness to adjust the approach. ABA might work for some, but for us, it felt more about control than care. I urge parents to research thoroughly, ask tough questions, and always trust your instincts about what’s best for your child.
Not once, in the many years of my kid attending, through multiple changes of directors, did they EVER teach me how to teach my kid the behaviors he needed to learn, even after multiple requests to the multiple directors. Did not always feel my kid was welcome simply for his age and needs. Younger children showed preference, as he aged. If you have an older autistic child, find somewhere else to go for his ABA needs. 2/10 would NOT recommend.
I had to take my baby outta this clinic. I tried to talk to the director about some real concerns I had, and she had the nerve to call me “aggressive.” Just for speakin’ up for my child. As a Black mother, that hit different. All I was doin’ was askin’ for answers and tryin’ to make sure my child was good. They don’t treat Black families right here. The energy is off, staff always switchin’ up, and they barely communicate. The whole place feels unorganized and fake. I already didn’t like how things were bein’ run, but once she said that to me, I knew we were done. I pulled my child out and I’ll be making a video soon so people can see what’s really goin’ on. Not everybody gets treated the same here and that’s a problem. My child will be going to a where his original supervisor moved to.
My child attended this center for 7 months. I just took him out because he was literally sick for the whole 7 months. Rsv, flu, viruses, this place is nasty and the health department needs to be called! They don’t have any sympathy when your kid is sick. Only threats to be removed from the program for missing too many days due to being sick. Hes caught everything from this center and I’ve yet to see any proper deep cleaning. Gabby is passive aggressive and sarcastic and has little empathy. They hire anybody! Techs had minimum training. To sum it up! They are horrible and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I tried to work with them for 7 months I can’t do it anymore! Took my son out because he now has the flu that he got from the Tech at the center. The tech verbally told me she was getting over the flu, next day my child had the flu. They have no precautions for sicknesses and never inform parents when their is a rise is viruses and illness in the center. They will know the whole center has RSV and instead is closing and deep closing they will have you still bring your child so that he is now infected and then when he miss days they will threaten to take you out the program that’s why it’s so much illness there because ppl are forced to bring their sick kids just so they won’t end up getting kicked out the program for “attendance” I hated this place!
This center is an amazing place for young ones to learn new skills! Overall, great experience so far. Staff is knowledgable and friendly!
Such a beautiful space for ABA therapy, after touring several centers this one stood out as the best.
If I could give them no stars I would. Our case manager was unprofessional & not dependable at all. The people they hire don’t even have experience. We did have 1 therapist who was great but other than that, they train people 24/7 who have no experience and don’t interact with the kids, one who fell asleep on her first day. It’s a shame, save your time & go somewhere else.
