Behavior Interventions Treament Center

My son has been receiving services through behavior interventions and they have been helpful with finding ABA threapists for my son through out the years to try to keep my son in daycare environment helped most part at one daycare where my son has difficulties being in school environment and his new threapist at his new school now is wonderful too. She’s friendly and patient with my son and communicates pretty well with me. I’m grateful to have my son one on one threapist with him full time to help him through school with his disability.

Working for this company was the biggest mistake of my life. I have never felt more mistreated, and that's coming from someone who came from the foster care system. As if being beaten up outside of work wasn't enough, I got physically beaten on a regular basis during sessions sustaining significant injuries that put me in a great deal of constant pain, mentally beaten by a cold supervisor who had zero empathy and made my life miserable, blamed for Central Reach errors that I had no control over, dragged through vicious legal drama, and nobody cared! Despite soldiering through all of it and never giving up, they treated me like I was just a worthless robot rather than a human being who had the weight of the world on their shoulders and was being crushed by it. Actions speak louder than words, and a few hollow words at the bottom of an email become meaningless in a sea of mistreatment. They made empty promises of supervision hours- it's been nearly a year, and I haven't gotten even 1 acceptable supervision hour. My $100,000 master's degree is about to be useless. They promised a bonus that I have yet to see. They promised HR had an open-door policy, but then told me I had to go through a formal complaint process. The list goes on and on. I'm about to be homeless, yet part of me is still relieved I don't have to deal with them anymore. I could've worked for any company, but choosing Behavior Interventions eventually devolved into my entire life being destroyed. Literally. And they never cared. They only ever added insult to injury.

I just discovered the only positive reviews here are by the company's HR and executive team LOL!!! Anyway, terrible company to work for. They treat behavior therapists like dirt. The only positive thing I can say about them is the pay is good but everything else is really really bad.

My review is from a professional standpoint....I was hired sometime in February. Early Feb. So I told HR that I have a full-time job and that this was a part-time job for me. Their expectations to compete trainings are very rushed and I was given inconsistent information from HR. They told me I was getting paid for a training than I was told No. I needed to do things within 48hours! Seriously! First the training I did was online and it took 6hours to complete and I had to drive an hour away to attend an in person training for the same training just to not get paid. Also, I took 2 days off of work to complete these trainings. My entire family got sick including myself and i could not compete the 2nd training aa planned. The second training was a 40 hour training in the middle of the training I get an email stating that they are no longer interested in hiring me even though I was told i could get more time as long as I let them know ahead of time to complete trainings.bottom line they are inconsistent with information from all ends...no one knows what is going on...they expect you to do all of their work...HR.... and I think they are not realistic with the hiring process..trainings really should be in person which is why there are so many unhappy families they are not getting properly trained people . Be aware if you apply for positions there better not get sick or have a full-time job...

Probably one of the worst companies to ever work for. Either getting care for your child or actually working for the company. The payment schedule is so messed up. No one is ever on the same page and you’ll be waiting MONTHS before you receive any paycheck. You could do everything by the book exactly how they ask you and still they mess up your pay and give you the run around. This company is unprofessional and I’m not even sure how they are still running. Definitely consider that you won’t be paid for months before applying here.

My son has Autism. Biggest mistake going with this company. This company sent a therapist to my home that had no experience (my son was his first patient), -“and after we raised concerns, and was promised the BCBA would be out more frequently to observe the company’s therapist, the BCBA lied never did. Thus the primary reason we got rid of this company. But there was more... The company also lied and said they would accept my sons Medicaid as a secondary insurance. They charge ridiculously high charges, that if you have a HIGH deductible plan, it will be EXTREMELY expensive...So I would not believe anything they say.... Most importantly, my son did NOT learn ANYTHING from the BCBA, and therapist. So we got RID OF THEM. Then after we informed them we were done, they had the audacity to allegedly bill for over 3 hours for a developmental plan, that she NEVER discussed with my family, when they got paid a RIDICULOUS amount of money for the consultation and plan.. Parents BEWARE—because the insurance company reimburses very well for ABA therapy for a child with Autism, company’s like this will hire anyone just so they can can “bill”. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company to ANYONE. My advice is ask the BCBA for his/her resume, evaluate their experience, and request the training information for its therapists and their experience level for children with Autism that they send to your home.
